Day #3 of 10 Days of Prayer

Day 3 in our 10 Days of Prayer.

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”   Hebrews 13:5-6

Let’s draw some encouragement from this passage so that we can begin the year with confidence.

1.    We Are Confident In His Provision.

I am content with what I have. God is my source I have everything I need.

Psalm 23:1 (AMP) “The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.”

The deepest needs in you heart can only be met by a relationship with Jesus. Trusting in anything else will lead to fear and disappointment.

God is my provider period.

Genesis 22:14 “And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; (Jehovah Jireh) as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.”

2. We Are Confident In His Presence.

Hebrews 13:5 (AMP) “…for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]”

Psalm 91:1,2 “He who [a]dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].
I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!”

I am so secure in His grip. I am fixed in His presence. Safe and secure from all alarm.
I will never face a difficult circumstance alone. When an enemy comes to the door I say, “Jesus can you get that?!”

3. We Are Confident In His Promises.

“…for He hath said…”  Do you get that! The Almighty God said that. What He promises He fulfils. He watches over His word to fulfil it!!!

A promise is only as good as the person who says it. WHO SAID IT!!! Do you trust Him? Then be bold and confident and rest in His promise. His love never fails!!!

4. We Are Confident In His Protection

“…the Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

We are so precious to Him. We are the apple of His eye. There is nothing too hard for Him.

Psalm 18:6-14 “In my distress [when seemingly closed in] I called upon the Lord and cried to my God; He heard my voice out of His temple (heavenly dwelling place), and my cry came before Him, into His [very] ears. Then the earth quaked and rocked, the foundations also of the mountains trembled; they moved and were shaken because He was indignant and angry.
There went up smoke from His nostrils; and lightning out of His mouth devoured; coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens also and came down; and thick darkness was under His feet. And He rode upon a cherub [a storm] and flew [swiftly]; yes, He sped on with the wings of the wind. He made darkness His secret hiding place; as His pavilion (His canopy) round about Him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies. Out of the brightness before Him there broke forth through His thick clouds hailstones and coals of fire. The Lord also thundered from the heavens, and the Most High uttered His voice, amid hailstones and coals of fire. And He sent out His arrows and scattered them; and He flashed forth lightnings and put them to rout.”

I love that picture of God being stirred up to come to my aid. This is what really happens. He is nuts about us. He will not let us be harmed. He will come when we call and destroy every obstacle and enemy.

So enter the year with confidence. God is for you! Who can be against you!!!

Prayer Directives:

Pray for all those who experienced difficulty or loss in 2014. Ask the Lord to help them close the door on the past hurts and disappointments and trust the Lord for GREATER GLORY!!!

Pray for Pastor and leadership team as we establish priorities for this year.

Pray for our leadership: National, Provincial, Municipal, First Responders, Police, …

Command the blessing of God over this great city. Prosperity and Blessing!

Pray for our IMPACT family that this would be a year of LEGACY! Dreams realized. Destinies established. Eternal Purposes Fulfilled!!!

Pray for ministries at IMPACT … That leaders would be refreshed and fresh fire and vision will be imparted.

The Comfort of His Protection
Hebrews 13:6 promises, “So that we may boldly say, the Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” Now, put that with verse 5, which says, “He hath said.”

Like I said earlier, I don’t know what you’re going to go through this coming year. But I know you can boldly say, “The Lord is my helper, so I will not fear what man shall do to me.” When you find your contentment, companionship, and confidence in Jesus. Then, you’ll find your comfort and courage in Jesus.

You are awesome God and we know that You created us to go from glory to glory, in transition from one open door to another… we know that it can be ‘hell in the hallway’ – thank-you that you are able to turn every negative experience from the past into blessing for the future. We agree that you people will have eyes to see and ears to hear what great opportunities your church has right NOW! We walk forward into 2015 with assurance that your glory is our rear guard.

    Thank you God that our Pastors guide us with joy, thank you that they have the mind of Christ, may their days be sweet with the aroma of Your kindness, the aroma of Your love. May they continually be in the right place at the right time; experiencing heavens blessing and the the weighty glory that comes from Your rule and reign. We agree for more encouraging reports of Your Kingdom advancing in London and around the world. Thanks be to God that our Pastors have been faithful to the heavenly vision that You have laid before them! We declare harvest time!;

We rejoice for our leadership: National, Provincial, Municipal, First Responders, Police, and those in authority; may they lead with godly wisdom and have the courage to confront evil with truth. We proclaim that Canada is a Christian country that You God, Your Kingdom come and Your will be done having dominion from sea to sea. London the city of light continues to prosper in all areas including family, religion, financial, educational, medical, social, business, and the arts.

We lift up our IMPACT family that this would be a year of LEGACY! Dreams realized. Destinies established. Eternal Purposes Fulfilled! We believe God that this is the year that would go down in the history books for unprecedented increase. Increase in favour, wisdom, leadership, intimacy, strong marriages, new believers, families and individuals added to the church; houses and lands, greater opportunities and victories! One putting a thousand to flight!

May refreshing from the Lord come to all our ministries at Impact church, let shouts of joy be heard for to goodness of God that touches leaders lives and families as we prefer one another above ourselves and lead with confidence in the arena that we have been called to; not jostling one another but encouraging, spurring on and blessing one another into the deep things of God!! Thank-you God that we are a family joined and knit together by what each joint supplies knowing that the increase and vision comes from heaven!! BAM! This is our time, this is our season, this is our decision to live in the fullness of blessing from our loving heavenly father.

I am so thankful that we can be so confident that God is always for us and not against us. We pray God’s peace and grace for those who in 2014 had experienced any loss or difficulty. God, we thank you that our pastors and leaders have eyes to see and ears to hear in 2015. We believe that God will download some amazing and new ways to serve our community and those we love in 2015. We are so thankful that we as an Impact community are found in God and rest under the shadow of his wings and it is not us but God who stirs himself up to fight for us.

    AMEN!

Lord, thank you for 2014, thank you for how you are revealing yourself to your people. Thank you for our last service in 2014 at Impact where you released your Presence mightily into the lives of everyone present. I pray you would increase your Presence during our worship at each and every service at Impact during 2015. During these times may you impart refreshment, re-firing, reinvigoration, renewal, fresh vision, fresh strength, new hope, and wash away any lingering negative effects from 2014 and beyond. In your Presence impart fresh revelation of who you really are, we truly want to know you MORE. Amen….so be it!!

Father, bring alive in us your wisdom, knowledge and creative ideas, concepts and insights. Lead us in new ways of having church, teaching groups and doing ministry, help us to think outside the box and bring new fresh perspective into everything we do in ministry this year so that we can relate to more people coming into our church from our city and communities. Change is upon us, let’s embrace it and have new ground breaking experiences all through this year.
