Day #8 of 10 Days of Prayer

Day 8 of 10 Days of Prayer

Today I want revisit our vision. It is important that we know and own our vision.

Proverbs 29:18
“Where there is no vision, the people perish:” (KJV)
“Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint;” (NKJV)
“When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild.” (NLT)
Another translation say there is “no harness!”

Refresh yourself today with the knowledge of our visioning mission.

GLOBAL GLORY
“Transforming Lives To iMPACT Their World”

OUR VISION: “To establish a global high- impact Church that will raise up team ministries which will declare and demonstrate all the Good News of Jesus Christ in a relevant way to this generation causing many people to realize freedom.”

“Transforming Lives To IMPACT Their World”
IMPACT people are: 1. Radical 2. Extremist 3. Nonconformist

1 .RADICAL:— base, root, fundamental, a group of atoms that retain identity during chemical change to the rest of the molecule.
God’s Word is absolute truth. He is the King. His kingdom is come.

James 1:22 “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”
It’s all about transformation. It’s about filling the gap. It’s about the space between.
Answer ? “Why am I here?”

Now matters!!!
Some churches offer: – Withdrawal … come out. – Sin management courses.
–    Religious hoops and programs – Self help
But it is about transformation.

It is possible to become a Christian and not mature.
How do we define maturity? Looks like too often we define it as Bible knowledge and attendance.
Should it not be transformation! Am I manifesting JESUS!!!

Impact people are radically devoted people who are manifesting authentic transformation in the space between.

Impact people own their spiritual journey. They know who they are and what they are called to be. It is their responsibility alone to be what God called them to be.

2 .NONCONFORMIST:— not conforming, refusing to mix or blend in.
Matthew 5:13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavour, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.”

Impact people are committed to living in authentic community.

You cannot fulfill the purpose for God outside of community.
You can know God without community and get to heaven without community, but you can’t mature or manifest God’s fullness.

You were created with the capacity for deep connectedness.
Genesis 2:15-23
“And the LORD God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him …And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.”

NAKED:– they lived in open disclosure with each other and with God without any weird fear mechanisms screwing it up.

Impact people are committed to living in deep connectedness.

Genesis 3 “Where are you?” So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.” Fear Ignorance Guilt — FIG they covered themselves with this.

Genesis 4 “Then the LORD said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” He said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?” And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out
to Me from the ground.”
Sin, in one generation, introduces murder into community.

Sin completely fractures our relationships with God and man. Then God introduces the law.
First group of 4 address the fracture between man and God.
Second group of 6 address the fracture between man and man.

Law leads to one of two things:
1. Defeat — If you’re honest
2.    Hypocrisy — If you’re not
The law cannot free you from this your relational disfunction.
The law only points you to your need for a Saviour.

You come into the family of God through a miracle of rebirth.

2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,”

We are set by God in His family.

John 13:34 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you,…” Trying not to sin does not lead to loving others.
Loving others leads to less sin.

Acts 2:47 “Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.”

Jesus is building His church and it is distinguished by the fact that it operates with open and authentic community.

John 13:35 “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

3 .EXTREMIST:— furthest from the middle, the highest degree, as severe and forceable as possible. The ultimate pioneers. On the bleeding edge. Not content to be where God was.

Evan Roberts — “I am the Lord’s special messenger who would arouse the churches to their task of saving the nation.”
John Hyde — “Give me souls O God or I Die.”
Reinhart Bonnke — “All Africa shall be saved!”
William Booth — “You cannot improve the future without disturbing the present.”
John G. Lake — “The Spirit of Life destroys the law of sin and death.”
Rodney Howard Browne — “God come to me or I’m coming to you”

Luke 14:26 “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.”
Sounds a wee bit extreme…

Matthew 28:19-20    “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, … teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you;”

Acts 1:8 “…receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me … and to the end of the earth.”

Psalm 67:1-2 “God be merciful to us and bless us, And cause His face to shine upon us, Selah
That Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations.”

Missions is not a line in our budget it is who we are!
Mission is what we live for.
If you don’t have a passion to IMPACT the world you are denying your purpose for existence.
We are called to inhale His goodness and exhale redemption.

Please consider what you give to missions … financially and with your personal time and gifting.

We are going to Haiti in February. This is a significant work. We partner with a work that is transformational. They will see young people raised up who will be reformers in that nation. It will move from a nation of takers to givers. We are participating in what will be seen as the most miraculous national transformation in the history of mankind.

That’s what I am believing for. And we have the partnerships to see that happen.

What is your role in the mission of IMPACT CHURCH!!!

PRAYER DIRECTIVES:

Pray that we see our vision realized and that Impact Church will stand out in our community.  Ask Him your role in the mission of Impact Church.

Thank Him for the family of God, pray for one another and be led in love.

Continue to wrap our Haiti trip in prayer.  Decree that we are being witnesses wherever we are.

Pray for Paris as they recover from attacks; comfort for the families of the victims, protection against further attacks, and for peace to replace fear.

It is great that we all have a purpose, thank you God for our church! Thank-you for the difference that iMPACT people are making today – right now – bringing hope, bringing a word in season, bringing an encouraging word, bringing wisdom and solutions to the workplace. We bless the purposes of iMPACT church today, our local body and the mandates that are upon us! Thank-you God for continued growth in our people that our relationships with each other go deep – genuine authentic relationships. I agree with everyone praying today for divine health and healing in our church family – I declare that we are the healthiest people in London! We agree for the families and marriages in our church; happy homes the the blessing of heaven upon them! Our children stand strong and remain faithful living lives that are complete in You God, secure in their ID in Christ – bringing good news to all they encounter.

We thank you Father that our light is already shining in our community. We thank you for increase and enlargement in where you would have us shine next. Impact the hearts of our church family with yourself that they would experience your compassion, your direction, your strength and desire to do more to advance our vision/your Kingdom. May each person in our church come to know how unique they are, born with a specific purpose for the earth. Blow on each heart and stir up, impregnate them with your vision for them, tell them wild things that only they can accomplish, and lighten the loads they carry so they can see the possibilities not the impossibilities. Increase, increase, increase upon our house NOW, oh God!! NOW! Amen, so be it!!!!

Father, we thank you for the divine community You have chosen for us to be part of. We thank you for each member of the body of Christ who is being fitted, shaped and fashioned to form the living stones of your Church. We thank you for a vision that is so clear that we can now run to accomplish all that You have purposed. Be large and magnificent in Your body so that all will truly know that You alone are the One True God. Move us forward in unity and each joint supplying strength to the whole. Move us further into the divine destiny that only Impact Church can fulfill!
Thank You for mission fields that are ripe and ready for harvest. Empower and equip all those who are preparing to minister life to Haiti next month and guard them from any form of discouragement, harassment or hindrance. We lift up the entire nation of France to Your comfort and presence by the Spirit and call for a revelation of Your peace that passes understanding that even this destruction can be worked for good with many thousands coming to a saving knowledge of Jesus.
We continue to encourage and strengthen the apostolic anointing in our pastors as they ministered mercy and order to our brethren in Barbados. Minister to them and through them in miracles and grace and pour out a rich refreshing on their lives. Bless You! Amen!

“God come to me or I’m coming to you!” by RHB does sound radical and should be the attitude of our heart. That should be the goal of our focus.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. (‭James‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ NKJV)

Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. (‭Psalms‬ ‭24‬:‭3-4‬ NKJV)

Thank you Father that because of Jesus we can ascend into, your Holy Hill. Because of Him, we are cleansed, because of Him we are set free, because of Him we can come boldly into the throne room of Grace where we may obtain mercy.

Thank you Father that you have made us new creatures in Christ. That we are different. That we stand apart from those of this present world, for while we are in the world, we are not of the world.

Thank you Father that the difference within us, the presence of your Holy Spirit, is seen by men and draws men to you. As they draw closer to you, you draw closer to them for it is your goodness that leads men to repentance.

Speak to us Lord, show us where we can make a difference in the lives of those around us. Show us how we can better Impact the community you’ve placed us in. Show us how we can teach them to access the manifestation of the blessing in their lives so they don’t look to the government or other people to be their source. Instead, that they can know you and know that you are the source of everything in our lives, from the air they breathe, to the clothes on their back, to the food they eat, to the car they drive.

For my God shall supply all our need according to His riches in Glory!

    In Jesus’ Name Amen!
