Day 8 of 10 Days Of Prayer January 2024

Day 8 of 10 Days Of Prayer January 2024

Leaders, and Volunteers in all spheres!
Matthew 9:35-38
35 Then Jesus went throughout all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were bewildered and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38 Therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest-ready fields.”

We have vision for large growth in 2024 and with this exponential growth, there will be a need for exponential addition of leaders and volunteers!
We want to pray for and increase in believers to discover and activate the talents and strengths God created them with!

1 Corinthians 12:4-11
“There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all. 5 There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord. 6 God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us. 7 A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. 8 To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; to another the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge. 9 The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of healing. 10 He gives one person the power to perform miracles, and another the ability to prophesy. He gives someone else the ability to discern whether a message is from the Spirit of God or from another spirit. Still another person is given the ability to speak in unknown languages, while another is given the ability to interpret what is being said.”

We want to pray for the Holy Spirit to meet people in their everyday tasks and encourage them to get involved!

Exodus 3:1-2
Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. 2 There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush….

We want to pray for anointed leaders and volunteer who impart the life-giving message that God is good, and He loves them!

Luke 4:18
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.”

Matthew 17:2 AMP – Jesus it says in scripture your “face shone [with heavenly glory, clear and bright] like the sun”. I pray Lord that those coming to Impact church, leaders, volunteers, those attending worship would all shine your glory like the sun. I pray Lord that glory would spread like a forest fire across all of London and thousands of people would meet you Jesus and also come alive in your glory.

I’m declaring such an increase in volunteers that there are more than we have need for!! God you always give abundantly more. Speak to your children, reveal to them the gifts you’ve given them and lead them to the place where they belong in our family at Impact!! I declare creative thinking and passion to seek out what You have for them and to be confident in where You lead them! Thank you Lord for volunteers. Thankyou for people who want to serve others, for those who choose to give their precious time. Lord bring your people to Impact, let us show them what a great God You are! I’m excited to see who You will bring Lord. In Jesus’ name!!

As we pray for, expect and anticipate with great excitement exponential growth in 2024, may we as Impact Church be prepared to serve these dear people who are coming to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour. Holy Spirit, open us up and free us to walk in our giftings. We all have a part to play in this Kingdom work. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Thanks Maddy, for that wonderful message. I do pray for an excitement to rise up in the hearts of many people to volunteer in one of the many areas or to lead a group. Father God, thank you for all the volunteers and leaders that are serving Impact Church today. My grandchildren who are in their teens, and attending church with their mom now, still remember very fondly their Sunday School teacher, Miss Winter, when they came with my husband, Terry and I to Impact Church. An “impact” was made that has served them well in their lives now.
