Day #9 of 10 Days of Prayer

Day #9 10 Days Of Prayer

God desires you to live a life overflowing with Joy. He wants His Joy to constantly animate your life. Going into 2015 we need to have a firm revelation on the JOY of the LORD!!!

Exodus 5:1

“Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness”

Feast :– {khaw-gag‘}  to hold a festival, to reel, to be giddy, celebrate, dance, stagger

God wanted His people free so that He could enjoy them. God loves a good party. He wants you to get giddy and celebrate in His presence.

1 Thessalonians 5:16

“Rejoice evermore.”

Paul asked the Galatian Church:

Galatians 4:15

“What has happened to all your joy?”

C.H. Spurgeon

“Our apostle speaks of rejoicing as a personal, present, permanent duty to be always carried out by the people of God. The Lord has not left it to our own option whether we will sorrow or rejoice; but he has pinned us down

to it by positive injunction — “Rejoice evermore.”

Hebrews 1:9

Jesus Is Full Of Joy!

“Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.”

Diary of: Robert Louis Stevenson

“I have been to Church today, and surprisingly I am not depressed.”

Must have been a miserable congregation at the best of times.

The Apostle Paul didn’t say be happy evermore. But be full of joy all the time.

Happiness comes from what is happening.

Some things that won’t bring you JOY!

Knowledge – Relationships –Location – Stuff – Money … not bad stuff but these are not going to bring you joy. There are people with lots of that stuff and they are very SAD and MISERABLE

JOY:– Intense and especially ecstatic or exultant happiness, or the expression or manifestation of such a feeling.

Joy 600x’s in the O.T. The hebrew language has 27 words for expressing joy.

Joy is a Personal, Present and Permanent Responsibility!

The Object Of Joy

Psalm 43:4 “Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy:”

Philippians 4:4  “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.”

The Quality Of Joy

DivineJohn 17:13 “…the full measure of my joy within them.”

Everlasting –  Is 35:10 “…and everlasting joy upon their heads:”

UnlimitedActs 13:52 “…continually filled [throughout their souls] with joy and the Holy  Spirit.”

The Source Of Joy

Holy Ghost

Romans 15:13  “…fill you with all joy… through the power of the Holy Ghost.”

Romans 14:17  Kingdom of God is, righteousness, peace and joy, in the Holy Ghost.

Gal 5:22  “Fruit of the Spirit is Love Joy …

Word

1 Jn 1:4 “And these things write we unto you, that your joy maybe full.”

Jeremiah 15:16 “…thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart:”

1 Thessalonians 1:6  “…welcomed our message in [spite of] much persecution, with  joy [inspired] by the Holy Spirit;”

Salvation

Is. 12:3Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.”

Prayer

Psm 16:11  “…in thy presence is fulness of joy;”

John 16:24 “…ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

John 7:37  “If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.”

Psalm 46:4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God.

The Reasons For Joy

Obedience

Deut. 28:47  “…curses will come upon you… Because you did not

serve the LORD your God joyfully and gladly in the time of prosperity.”

Healing

Pr 17:22  “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:”

Strength

Neh 8:10  “…the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

Rivers

John 7:38,37  “come unto me, and drink …out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”

Recovery

Jeremiah 33:11 “The voice of joy …For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the First, saith the LORD.”

Results

1 Peter 1:8-9  Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9 receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.

Believing – Rejoicing – Receiving

Hebrews 11:11

“Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.”

Genesis 21:6

“And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.”

Too many believers have the doctrine of joy without the experience of Joy.

Joel 1:12

“The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree,

the palm tree also, and the apple  tree, even all the trees of the field, are

withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.” Joel 1:12

Lose your joy – Lose your stuff.

Prayer Directives:

Pray that our lives would be overflowing with joy as we dwell with the object of our joy and that all of our doctrines will become experiences in our lives that we can share with others.

Thank Him for all of the results of joy that will be realized in your life.

Healing, salvation, and recovery are objects and reasons of joy.  Decree that we will see many healed, saved and set free!

Pray for the Apostolic Church in Canada: the Churches, Pastors, and all members.  Command joy to be present over each one!

We chose JOY. No matter what the circumstance, no matter what the situation we know that Your Kingdom will come when we do all that we know to do and continue to stand in Your truth. Thank-you God that it is Your JOY that is our strength! We celebrate freedom and release as we dance on all that dare oppose your plans and purposes for our lives in 2015. We have the mind of Christ and we choose to live in the reality of a supernatural God that supplies all our need according to the unlimited supply of Your Kingdom – let Your Kingdom rule and reign Lord – Let Your will be done Lord – right now we partner with heaven – everlasting JOY upon our heads. We square head on with all that is before us knowing God that You have equipped us to move forward in confidence not lacking any good thing.

We agree with your will God that today we prosper, today we are in health, today we manifest the Kingdom in our mindsets and actions. Aware that we walk not alone but in partnership with heaven and all Your resources. We entertain angels aware that You are working all things in our favor. With the mind of Christ we are magnets to manifestations of supernatural JOY. Joy in the home, JOY in the workplace, JOY in our churches and gatherings, JOY in our marriages and relationships! Thank-you God for salvations, healings and breakthrough in lives today – wholeness in Your people.

We greet oppression, fear and sickness with overcoming praise and declaration of His majesty! We rule and reign here on earth today! We know that God You speak to us and that we hear Your voice – your voice of encouragement, strategy, love and wisdom. Spending time with You we are at rest because of Your counsel.

We continue to build on the ceiling created by the lives and ministries of those who have established and walked before us in the Apostolic Church in Canada. We honour our heritage and move forward into greater harvest and territory this year. Thank-you God that all our ACC Pastors, their families and ministries are blessed; may they not become weary but continue to position themselves for fresh vision and outpouring of JOY in 2015. We pray for our governmental leadership team – protection, health and continued zeal for advancing this coming year. We know that Your yoke is easy and that Your burden is light – we declare that our leaders operate out of Your rest.

It’s our turn, it’s our season – this is not a practice run – this is what we do today – overcome all that would dare oppose the knowledge of a good God that has given us all we need to live in JOY. Come to the overflow from heaven and freely drink, get past the old mindsets of lack and small thinking. We together take hold of the reality that we His people are royalty. We have every right to enjoy all the benefits of intimate relationship with the King of Kings!

I can hear Him saying “YES!”

Jesus you are the true vine and we are the branches, you said in John 15:9-11, As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love, If you obey my commands you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete!

Remaining in His Joy, in His Presence that’s where we will walk and experience His Joy, we exchange our strength for His! We thank you Jesus that your words remain in us, we are abiding in you, in your Joy, so we can ask whatever we wish, your word say’s and it will be given you. We will not let the little foxes steal from us, and ruin our vineyards. The Joy of the Lord is our strength, and Joy has a voice, our confession of Faith, the voice of Joy with not pull our armor off. We are not moved by what things look like personally and as a body at Impact Church and the Apostolic Church and all associated as well, we are remaining in the true vine! We are men and woman of Faith!

Habakkuk 3:18- Yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the victorious God of my salvation! The Lord God is my Strength , my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hind’s feet and will make me to walk not to stand still in terror, but to walk and make spiritual progress upon my high places of trouble , suffering, or responsibility! Amen !!!

1 Pet 1: 8 Without having seen Him, you love Him; though you do not [even] now see Him, you believe in Him and exult and thrill with inexpressible and glorious (triumphant, heavenly) joy.
9 [At the same time] you receive the result (outcome, consummation) of your faith, the salvation of your souls. (Amp).

Two powerful witnesses to the observers of our lives separately and in community are:

    1. Joy unspeakable (but quite visible) and full of Glory!
    2. The love that we have for one another .

Father, you have made us a peculiar people, set apart to be signs and wonders to a world that is at war with itself. Strengthen our joy, divinely sourced in Your unchanging nature and deepen our love for You, our congregation and those all around us so that all will see truly how great Thou art!
