Day 8 of 10 Days of Prayer 2020

Creativity and Excellence

2020 See Yourself Here. In order to see and have vision there must first be light. We know that Jesus is the light of the world, but do we also know that he made us light too.

(Matthew 5:14) “…you are the light of the world…”

We are not only called to see, but through the life of Christ in us, to be agents that cause others to see.

(Philippians 2:15) “…children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world…”

We are those who not only see, but help others to see, and not just see theological truths but to be those who light up dark places in the earth, people who shine light by bringing new, creative, God ideas, shining his light on solutions to issues that keep others in darkness.

God wants us this year to see, and then cause others to see.

It was said of Daniel that “has exceptional ability and is filled with divine knowledge and understanding. He can interpret dreams, explain riddles, and solve difficult problems. (Daniel 5:12)

2020 will be year where we manifest creativity and wisdom, we light up our world so brightly that when there’s a problem to be solved, darkness to be confronted, the people in our world say the same thing the Babylonians said of Daniel “Call for Daniel, and he will tell you what the writing means. (Daniel 5:12)

(Daniel 12:3) “the wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.”

IN 2020, you’re not only going to see, but your life will cause others to see God in a new way and shed light on solutions to problems and answers to questions that cause others to stumble in darkness.

Let’s pray this year for the church that we will:

Manifest the wisdom and excellence of God in our homes, neighborhood’s, jobs, and schools.

That the way we love each other and do community as the children of God, the wisdom of our love, would cause us as a community of believers to shine brightly in a polarized and divided culture.

Pray for supernatural wisdom, creativity, and understanding to make the people of God stand out in society, shining like unstoppable lights that can’t be ignored.

To help each one of us to be comfortable, bold and courageous in being seen, living openly and letting our lives shine the light of Jesus for others to also be able to see.

Yes, yes, yes, Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit shine in us and through us so the world can see and wonder why are we so happy, confident, joyful! May our faces reflect your presence always. That is how we bring your light into the darkness.

Fill your people with your light today and with your wisdom. As we shine the troubled and lost will come as moths to a lamp and we can tell them of your grace.

    thanks Zach – great teaching.

John 18:12 Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, “I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”

    Matt 15:14 “You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden;

Father – we are always grateful that we live in the Light of life, with the Light of the world living within us. Left our lives be as the shining ones, displaying your glory wherever we are.

Proverbs 4:18 (AMP) But the path of the just (righteous) is like the light of dawn, That shines brighter and brighter until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the perfect day.

Amen – even the path of the just is shining with increasing brilliance that is most attractive to the world.

Yes Lord!!! We receive your light, we are not afraid, we are confident that your light comes with GRACE. In our weakness we can turn to You, You shine your light and show us your path. We can show to others that you and your light are not scary but your light is a lamp unto their feet and the path is bright with your gift of righteousness. Lord, thank you for a light that supernaturally gives peace in dark places and gives us confidence that we will not strike our foot upon a stone but we, in this world but not of this world, are the light that others are desperate for. We confess BOLDNESS to be all you have called us to be; a light shining in a dark place directly reflecting your goodness, kindness, grace, love, peace, patience, faithfulness, self-control…
I come boldly to Your throne with complete gratitude and awe!!! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
