Day 6 of 10 Days of Prayer 2020

Day 6 of 10 Days of Prayer 2020
By: Zach Sloane

A Strategy to See

Acts 20:20
I did not shrink from doing anything helpful, proclaiming the message to you and teaching you publicly and from house to house…”

I don’t think it’s a stretch to imagine that the message Paul told the elders of the Ephesian Church that he had proclaimed to them, was not at all dissimilar to what he would write to them about.

It was to this church that Paul would write “that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance among the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power for us who believe.” Eph. 1:18-19

Paul had clear desire and passion to help the Ephesian Christians see by the Spirit of God. He employed a two-pronged strategy and engaged them in two dynamic ways to expose them to the anointing that would bring revelation: he met with them publicly and house to house.

He encouraged them to attend the week-end service and experience the corporate anointing, and he encouraged them to meet house to house in small groups. Both are vital aspects of healthy living and a clear biblical strategy to aid in the development of vision. Both are needed. You need to see and be seen!

I want to encourage you, make a priority of coming to church regularly on the weekend, but also, sign up for an Impact Group today:

https://www.impactlondon.ca/impact-groups/

Let’s pray together for:

Pray for Massive, well attended week-end services with significant life transformation in the corporate anointing.

Pray for our small groups – for good connections and healthy relationships to emerge.

Pray for our relationship with others in the body of Christ, that they would be strong and fruitful – protected and covered in love and grace.

Pray for the testimony of God’s presence and activity in our midst to go abroad in the community. That people would beat down the doors of our church on Sundays and fill our group mid-week groups because they know that God is both present and active   amongst Impact Church people.

Father, you have called us into this amazing family of brothers and sisters so that we might connect with one another, and as we do, we are drawn ever closer to your Father’s heart of love and compassion. Thank you for blessing our corporate worship and for our small groups where we are able to connect with one another more intimately. Thank you for placing me in this family of believers where relationships really do matter. In the precious name of Jesus.

What can be more true than testimony of our own experience of your love from within? Let the testimonials come in the corporate service and in the cell groups and in the streets. Not just for the benefit of Impact Church but for all you love!
