Day 8 of 10 Days of Prayer

Day 8 of 10 Days of Prayer
with D. Karl Thomas

“The Christian is a holy rebel loose in the world with access to the throne of God. Satan never knows from what direction he will come.”   A. W. Tozer

If Satan can’t kill you he will settle for containing you. Too many are willing to co-exist in peace with the enemy because they feel they are powerless to fight back. God wants you to pick a fight. You are anointed to get your stuff back.   Are you co-existing or conquering?

“It’s obvious that He taught an invading and occupying model of ministry. Could it be that the Church has grabbed hold of a departure mindset rather than an invading and occupying mindset that prompts many to ask, “Do I have to fight?” Jonas Clarke

We need to balance our understanding of the lamb of God with the Lion of the tribe of Judah

Joshua 10:25
“Joshua said to them, Fear not nor be dismayed; be strong and of good courage. For thus shall the Lord do to all your enemies against whom you fight.”

2 Samuel 22:30-40
“He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms…. For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.”

“Behold I give unto you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

You are saved to have dominion not just get to heaven.

Bill Johnson
“If Jesus did all He did because He is God I am impressed, but I am not compelled to follow.”

Matthew 8:27
“What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

When you read the gospels do you put yourself in the story?

Who are you? Crowd – Disciple – one being touched …. Shouldn’t you be Jesus?

Be the hero in your own story.

Onward Christian Soldiers !!! This was my grandfather’s favourite hymn. Thank you, Jesus, that you don’t send us out on our own to head into battle. You have empowered us and You have equipped us with the cross of Jesus going on before. Jesus, you always go before us onto the battlefield. Teach us to fight from this place of victory and to never retreat.

Great word to start a great week! Thanks Ps Karl for continually leading us by strong example! Let us all be careful to discern the forces at work around us and keep our mighty weapons of warfare at hand to push back the dark forces and make room for the glorious light of the Kingdom to shine even brighter! Onward indeed with boldness and confidence that our God is fighting for and with us!

We command ourselves blessed, possessors of weapons that are mighty in God, and we embrace the responsibility for witnessing that the Gospel empowers us to carry out; all unto the pulling down of strongholds and the exposure of lies that debilitate, in Jesus name.

Great word. Praying the directives. Believing that Jesus is with me when I go out into the east end today – expose the lies of the devil that are trapping these treasures who have found themselves lost in dark places

We are in the army of God , Who is strong and mighty. He is the commander of the army. He teaches us to fight in battle. He teaches my hands to war.
Greater is He who is in me , than he that is in the world. Jesus You said greater works we will do in Your name. We command all sickness and diseases to bow to the name of Jesus.
We pray for our leaders in various governmental organizations that you bless them with wisdom.
Fill them with Your Holy Spirit.
We pray for Godly leaders to arise in such a time as this.
Blessings for those In authority who have to make strategic decisions.
