Day 6 of 10 Days of Prayer

Day 6 of 10 Days of Prayer
By: Sheryl Sullivan

Let’s pray for our communities today; London, Toronto, Bridgewater- all different with very different cultures but all filled with people who need to know Jesus. We want to see souls saved like never before!

Put your ear down to the Bible and hear Him bid you go and pull sinners out of the fire of sin. Put your ear down to the burdened, agonized heart of humanity, and listen to its pitiful wail for help.
William Booth

If the Great Commission is true, our plans are not too big; they are too small.
Pat Morley

Soul-winning is the chief business of the Christian minister; it should be the main pursuit of every true believer.
Charles Spurgeon

Prayer directives:

– Pray that the Father would draw them with His love
Jeremiah 31:3 “…I have loved you, my people with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself”

John 6:44 in the Passion Translation says, “The only way people come to me is by the Father who sent me—He pulls on their hearts to embrace me.”

Pray for workers and agree to be one of those workers
Luke 10:2 “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
Lord send us with your anointing and confidence to be one of the workers in the harvest field!

– Pray that God would remove the blinders that Satan has on their minds
2 Corinthians 4: 3,4 “Even if our gospel message is veiled, it is only veiled to those who are perishing, for their minds have been blinded by the god of this age, leaving them in unbelief.  Their blindness keeps them from seeing the dayspring light of the wonderful news of the glory of Jesus Christ, who is the diving image of God.”   Verse 6 says “Let brilliant light shine out of darkness

Pray that their eyes of understanding would be enlightened
Ephesians 1:18 “I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of His calling”

People’s minds have been closed to the gospel. They don’t know that that is where their hope lies.

Father, You have said that You have drawn us with unfailing love to your heart. May we be the conduit for the rivers of living water to flow into the lives of the hurting, the broken and the lost. Give us ears to hear, eyes to see and hearts to respond to the agonized cries of humanity all around us. May we walk in love and mercy as we carry the Father’s heart for all His children.

I agree in prayer with you Cheryl. Praise God. Heavenly Father, anoint us to be main arteries from the Heart of God to our families, and our cities. To be vessels of Your Glory, bringing the Good News of Jesus to our families and communities for Your Glory in Jesus name amen.

Sheryl : We agree with your video wholeheartedly. The part that stood out to us, is not just praying in the workers in the harvest, but to become one of the workers. We thank God for the people who were brave enough to reach out to us with the Love of Jesus back in the day. What an exciting thrill it is to be stirred by the Holy Spirit, to reach out to that person in the coffee shop, on the bus, in our daily lives with our Testimony, using words, when needed.

Thank you Jesus so much for all your are doing in all the Impact churches! I pray that people would be attracted to your love that is overflowing in our churches and when they step in they would feel like they are home. Thank you Jesus that you are revealing yourself to the ones who have not yet experienced you and to the ones who have, and even greater revelation. I pray for eyes to see and ears to hear your goodness. I also pray for an abundance of workers to begin to step into areas that they are passionate about and are able to express their giftings!

Father we pray indeed that men with a heart that beats after yours be brought into our impact community and that together we may go out into the fields and bring the lost into your kingdom.
We also pray that God may you remove the veil from those that are blinded and may our eyes of understanding be open so we could come to the full knowledge of you.
