Magnify The Lord

September is always a time of great transition for people. It is also a season of new beginnings for many. I always like to soak these times in prayer.
Thank you for joining us for this season of prayer. There is a great deal of activity in the Body of Christ right now. So many voices speaking into what is happening globally. It is a great time to partner with God and pray with His clarity into what He is doing.
In a time of great turmoil in the earth, Corrie Ten Boom, who suffered through Hitler’s concentration camps, lost several of her family members, and yet was a clear testimony for Jesus Christ? She once said: “There is no panic in heaven, only plans.” I love that. God is clearly in control. We must always operate in this realm from our heavenly position.
Ephesians 2:4-6 “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,”
There is no panic in Heaven, only plans.
I love the prayer in Acts 4:23-31. Lets look at this pattern for the next few days. They had just been arrested and threatened and told not to use the NAME of Jesus. In this time of struggle they did not shrink back in fear. They put a demand on God for MORE.
No matter what is going on in the world – In your world – In your life – God is not in state of panic and you are In Christ, seated in heavenly places, ENTHRONED … Reigning and Ruling.
Look how the prayer begins:
4:24 “Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them,…”
Always begin by magnifying the Lord in everything. Begin by praising and exalting Him. Focus on His greatness. He is so exalted above all. Align yourself with your place in Him.
Psalm 34:3-4 “Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.”
Nehemiah had to lead the people in prayer in a time of difficulty. I love the way he began his prayer: Nehemiah 1:5 “I pray, Lord God of heaven, O great and awesome God, You who keep Your covenant and mercy with those who love You and observe Your commandments,…”
Solomon begins his prayer by appealing to God’s greatness: 2 Chronicles 6:14 “… and he said: “Lord God of Israel, there is no God in heaven or on earth like You, who keep Your covenant and mercy…”
I love the simplicity of the Prayer of ASA … in a time of great difficulty. 2 Chronicles 14:11
“And Asa cried out to the Lord his God, and said, “Lord, it is nothing for You to help, whether with many or with those who have no power; help us, O Lord our God, for we rest on You, and in Your name we go against this multitude. O Lord, You are our God; do not let man prevail against You!”
Jesus when He taught His disciples to pray began this way: Matthew 6:9 “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.”
If we are going to partner with Heaven we must do it from Heavens perspective. Before we mouth any petition we must be sure we are invaded with mind, power and purpose of our heavenly Father.
There is no panic in Heaven, only plans.
PRAYER DIRECTIVES:
Tell me about the greatness of God. Share with us how great your God is. Magnify Him together as we approach this new season.
1. Let’s pray for the manifestation of the Church. Let’s call forth that beautiful redeemed community that will manifest God’s fullness in the earth. Come forth CHURCH!!!
2. They will know we are disciples by our love for one another. Baptize us a fresh in your LOVE!!!
3. Thank you for a community of believers moving together manifesting your glory!!!
4. When you feel everything is lost and you can’t go on … Stop!!! You are very close to the fulfillment of God’s best for your life. Don’t ever be the victim. You are condemned, by the finished work of the cross, to TRIUMPH!!! INTRODUCE YOUR CHALLENGE TO THE GREATNESS OF GOD!!!
5. Think of areas where the enemy has tried to steal from you … your family … your church community. Encourage yourself in God and demand your stuff back, IN THE NAME OF JESUS!!!
We command health to be restored!
We command wealth to be restored!
We command relationships to be restored!
We command passion to be restored!
Thanks be to God who always leads us to Victory in Jesus Christ. How great is our God, the very founder of our faith not only walks with us moment by moment but He has put His Spirit within us.
We agree that the church takes her place in society bringing about the goodness of God to all people, in all situations.We call forth those ones that have been set apart to bring change. Thank-you for the love of God that knows no limit no boundary no end! May the church unite and move by Your Spirit with faith demonstrating Your truth to all.
We don’t focus on the bigness of our needs or problems but instead we focus on the bigness of our God!! We speak and live in the favor of God right now! Blessing follows us wherever we Go.
Father, we give You thanks. It is You who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. We call forth that inheritance and its full manifestation in each of our lives as a testimony to Your goodness, Your greatness and Your love. We call forth love, power, and soundness of mind for each of us, health, and a greater capacity to see You and Your glory. We receive Your grace, by which, and only by which, we may serve you acceptably with reverence and awe. As what can be shaken is shaken, we align ourselves with Your desire and promise that we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken. You who are that consuming fire, be on display in us and through us as we seek to partner with You . Amen!
John 17: 3 And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) You, the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), Whom You have sent.
Abba Father! we declare You, the One True and Living God, are holy and mighty and worthy of all honour and praise! We are your people, living stones being fit together into the strong and dynamic organism of the church which is destined to display kingdom authority, kingdom power and wisdom in the earth. For a world that you love, for a world that groans for the manifestation of the Sons of God, we speak blessing from the heavenly realms into the earth to bring peace, divine health and abundance to be shared. We are blessed so that we can bless those around us. We do this to show how good our Heavenly Father truly is!
We receive Your wisdom and live with the mind of Jesus. We align ourselves with kingdom purpose and stand ready to respond to your direction.
Thank you Lord for Your greatness and Your Love. Thank you for the peace and joy bestowed on me when I am completely engulfed in your goodness. I pray for increasing clarity on how and when I am to work Your plan. Show me the way. Amen.
Paul told the Colossian Church, “But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firm in it.” What truth was he referring to? In the verse above 1:22 Paul reminds us that we have been reconciled to God and brought into his very presence, holy, blameless and without a single fault. Early he says God has qualified us to share in the inheritance that belongs to his children. Therefore we can live in a world of chaos and panic with great confidence knowing that all that He has promised is ours for the inheriting.
Father I pray that your children would get a revelation that you are good and you can be trusted to keep all of your promises, therefore we declare the recovery and restoration of all things. Amen
Father I declare that the Church will rise up in it’s fullness now, within our local communities and throughout Canada and the rest of the world. I declare your glory to be mighty in the earth, so thick and heavy that it cannot go unnoticed or be denied.
I love the truth that says “we are CONDEMNED to Victory and Triumph!! We are also CONDEMNED to success, and a life filled with Wisdom, Knowledge, Creative Ideas Concepts & Insights, Prosperity, Riches & Wealth, the likes of which hasn’t been seen in this earth. Our lives should so reflect the goodness of God in our thinking, speaking, actions & possessions that people come and ask you “how has this all happened for you,” then we can tell them of the unlimited goodness of our God.
It’s time for full restoration in all areas of our lives, all that has been robbed, destroyed or taken from us will be restored not just back to what we had but with extra abundance far beyond what we lost because that’s the goodness of our God. In the name of Jesus, I declare RESTORATION, now watch how our Father God will turn things around in our lives for His glory, and we say “bring it on Abba Daddy,” He’s so awesome!! Be expecting!!!!!
Be encouraged today, we are condemned to a life filled with the the Joy of the Lord in our everyday lives….how awesome is that!!!
Jesus, that was good. There is no panic in heaven – only plans. Never shrink back, but put a demand on You for more. We can do this because we trust You. You are trustworthy. You are good. We have heaven’s perspective. We do magnify You in everything we do. I love it in the Psalms where David asks You to answer his request because of YOUR unfailing love. It is from this place that we agree and trust that You are bringing forth the Church! You are helping us believers move together to manifest You and Your love! We are triumphing in our circumstances! Our health, wealth, relationships, and passion are being restored! It’s about You. Just like the prayers we read above, fruit happens when we abide and focus on You Jesus.
I thank you Lord that there is no panic in Heaven, only plans! We call forth the good plans of Heaven to be manifest on the earth, in our community. Baptize your church afresh with your love, and let the love that pours out of us bring transformation to our community! We declare a season of miracles like we’ve never seen; I thank you that in times of darkness your light shines greater!
Flow through us, Holy Spirit and use us to bring change!
Psalm 34-TPT
1 Lord! I’m bursting with joy over what you’ve done for me!
My lips are full of perpetual praise.
2 I’m boasting of you and all your works,
So let all who are discouraged take heart.
3 Join me everyone! Let’s praise the Lord together.
I’ve often heard it said that we are to live from or live by the promises of God, but
over the last couple of weeks or so, the Spirit has been impressing on me that
I am to live in (to be surrounded by, in the heart of, encompassed within, in the midst of)
His promises. Although I’m not sure I understand the full distinction here, I believe
it has to do with living within the heart of God’s good intentions for my life. This is
more than merely claiming or declaring those promises, but living from this position
of authority which is only received when I exist in the fullness of God’s presence.
Father, may it ever be so for all of us. Thank you that I exist in your heart and that all
of your promises are Yes and Amen.

From the first time I heard the song Everything by Lifehouse, I have deeply liked it. Over the past close to a decade, again and again whether I’m happy or sad, exhilarated or despondent, super busy or still, or anything in between, I find myself humming or singing it. I walk with my God, with the constant awareness of His attention and love upon me, and the constant awareness of mine upon Him., and the steady flow of communion between us. I love to hear His voice, and I’ve noticed He likes talking to me and give me the good stuff.
In that song. The chorus. And how can I stand here with you and not be moved by you. Would you tell me how can it be any better than this.
The guy who talks to seven billion people and all the rest of creation, takes the time to talk one on one with me. Counts me as His friend – as I count friendship. Reveals the intricacies of His creation to me and Himself within it and depth of it’s amazing design and engineering and interdependence and how He has spoken it all into order and holds it in order and brings it back into order by His word. and on and on the magnificence of His handiwork proceeds. And this guy looks to me for friendship. Seeks it out and nurtures it and I am aware of this and revel and respond in this – truly, how can it be any better than this?
This is the most personally impacting way that I know the greatness of God. And one of my favourite ways
And out of that place of knowing His heart – praying for others is easy. They need to come into a knowledge of the fellowship offered to them, by their Dad, their Beloved One, their Paraclete. By the one who created them to come into the most intimate of fellowship with Himself. in that place, all else happening is just a matter of time and location and… (the details of life unfolding)
I love that there is no panic in heaven, only plans. God I thank you that you have raised us up to heavenly places to see from your perspective. God we thank you that in heaven there is love, health, provision, and zeal. We thank you that we can declare let it be on earth as it is in heaven.
