Day 7 of 10 Days of Prayer

10 Days of Prayer: Justice in the Earth Today!
with Zach Sloane, September 7, 2020

We need justice in the Earth today. Justice is a massive deal to God.

Psalms 89:14
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; steadfast love and faithfulness go before you.
Jesus tied a manifestation of justice to faith in prayer.

Luke 18:1-8 – The Parable of the Persistent Widow
18 And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart. 2 He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man. 3 And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’ 4 For a while he refused, but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man, 5 yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice, so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.’” 6 And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says. 7 And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them? 8 I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

Notice the difference between the unjust judge and God. The unjust judge finally answers the cry for justice because of the efforts of the widow. It’s a very arbitrary and reluctant response, predicated upon the persistence of the widow. God is not like the unjust judge. He responds  quickly to faith and grants justice not in response to our pestering him, but because he is just.

Faith in his goodness and just nature empowers persevering prayer, not the need to overcome his reluctant holding out on us.

Why faith in a talk about justice? Because justice was secured at the cross and faith is  required to bring it into manifestation.

Lets pray for justice:

Amos 5:24

But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.

Pray that as believers we recognize the high prize Jesus paid for us and insist that all that he already purchased be fully expressed in our lives.

Pray for a vision of God as just and full of grace and goodness, a vision that would fuel us and empower our faith and expectation in persevering prayer.

Pray for justice and against equality in the earth today. Where there is a lack of justice, fairness and equity, be it racially, between genders, economically and/or socially that it would be overcome by divinely powerful weapons – a revelation of the elevating grace of God and our inclusion in Christ so powerful that real lasting change is affected.

Amen. Thank you Jesus for already securing our salvation, healing, deliverance, and well-being! Thank you that you paid the price. We recognize that, receive the benefits of all that you did by faith, and insist that every unjust hindrance to the manifestation of all that you have already bought and paid for bow, yield, and leave in Jesus name!

Father, your righteousness requires justice, true fairness and equity for all persons. Your grace is spread across the cosmos with abundant love and fundamental intent to restore the divine dignity of each person. Let your standard of justice be established in every high place and in the hearts of those in authority so that peace rules our land.

We pray for justice in all walks of life in the name of Jesus. Strong hold would be demolished in Jesus name.
We take full authority and control against all plans of the enemy.
The love of Christ will dispel all darkness, Your true will overshadow all wrong doings.

We pray for full manifestation of your grace , that would touch the lives of people.
We pray for hope in the hopeless situation.
Let the light of Jesus shine in the heart of all.
What is enemy is planning for harm , Jesus you will turn it around for good.
