Stretch Out The Healing Hand

Welcome to Day 5 of ten days of prayer. Lots of people busy with the long weekend. Hope you get a chance to drop in and pray. Leave us a note. Even just a short note … Like … “I’m Praying!!!”
Continuing with the prayer that made the earth shake. Acts 4:23-31
We are going to get results as we pray!!!
The first thing we do is: Focus On The Lord — Magnify His Great Name!
The second thing we do is: Get A Proper Perspective Of Our Adversaries.
The third thing is: Lord grant us all BOLDNESS!
The fourth thing is: Boldness to declare His Word.
Acts 19:20 “Thus the Word of the Lord grew and spread and intensified, prevailing mightily.”
2 Corinthians 5:20 (NLT) “We are Christ’s ambassadors, and God is using us to speak to you. We urge you, as though Christ himself were here pleading with you, “Be reconciled to God!”
The Word of God, the message of God, the glad tidings, the Word of His grace, was being shared by the believers. It was powerful and caused many to believe. It spread and intensified, prevailing mightily and filled whole regions.
The prayer that shakes the earth is a prayer that asked for boldness to proclaim the life changing message of the gracious glad tidings of a risen Saviour.
Today the fifth thing is: Stretch Out The Healing Hand
Acts 4:30 “… by stretching out Your hand to heal, …”
Now they knew Jesus was in heaven so what they were asking for was that God would use them, the body of Christ, to manifest His healing touch. Let our hands be your hand extended and continue healing this broken, sick world.
Clearly their prayer was answered as we can see in the following verse: Acts 5:16 “Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.”
We are fully equipped to heal the sick. We have everything necessary to be His hand extended.!
Acts 3:6-13 Peter and John ministered healing.
“But what I do have that I give to you.” vs. 6
What did Peter have that he was willing to give away?
1. Peter Had Revelation
“By His wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24
We have God’s Word and The Spirit of Truth. We have revelation. Right doctrine on healing will make you bold.
2. Peter Had Authority.
“Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.” Luke 9:1
We have the same commission. Heal the sick! He wouldn’t tell us to do something we couldn’t do.
3. Peter Had The Anointing
Acts 1:8 Dunamis:– POWER
1John 2:20,27 {AMP} “…the anointing … which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you;…”
We have the same anointing. We have a legal right to operate in His power. SAME HOLY SPIRIT!
4. Peter Had The Name
Acts 3:6 “…in [the use of] the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk!”
Acts 8:12 “…he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ,…”
Jesus will still back up the use of His name. All creation must respond to His NAME. Jesus Christ Is Lord!!!
5. Peter Had Active Faith
Acts 3:4 “Look at us!” Look (Blepo):– steady, expectant, attentive, and all absorbing stare.
We have to release our faith. Look at us! I have something to give you. I am a dispenser of heavenly favour. Be Healed!!! Be Free!!! Be Reconciled To God
“There is no panic in Heaven, only plans.” Plans for you. Plans for your prosperity. Plans for your hope and future. God works through opposition! His kingdom will come and what He wants to happen will happen, regardless of the enemy’s efforts to oppose Him. Many sons will come to Glory. There is going to be a large harvest!!! He is going to stretch Himself out to cover the broken and diseased … THROUGH YOU!!!!
Okay Let’s Pray!!!
PRAYER DIRECTIVES:
Spend some time making God big in your life. Proclaim His greatness!!!
Now with your position In Him firmly established, confront your enemies with one of the most powerful weapons — Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!! Yes your situation may be very serious and it may be threatening to you … BUT God is bigger and He has better plans for you. His purpose cannot be overcome. REJOICE!!!
Pray with me for ALL BOLDNESS to come upon God’s people!
Pray that the Word would go forward and prevail in the whole region.
Pray Lord stretch out your Hand through me … Heal and deliver. Awaken your Body to the realization that they are called to confront sickness and disease and command it to go in Jesus’ Name!!!
Pray for Sunday service. Pray that we would encounter the Lord in a fresh way as we gather in His name. Souls saved … lives set free … healing of every disease … a powerful manifestationn of His presence.
Pray for all those in transition right now … Lord bless and protect … be with all our children and young people as they enter an new school year.
Pray for elections. Pray the Lord’s favour and revival be poured out all over our city. A healing revival! Now!!! In JESUS Name!
“Follow God and imitate all he does in everything you do, for then you will represent your Father as his beloved sons and daughters. And continue to walk surrendered to the extravagant love of Christ.” (Ephesians 5:1-2)
Father, as you have so richly blessed us through the extravagant love of Christ, help us to walk with an aroma of adoration which brings a sweet healing fragrance to all we encounter. In a world that is so desperate for compassion, restoration and healing, let us — your sons and daughters spread the sweet balm of Gilead, which we carry within us, to every weary, anguished brother and sister we touch. As freely we have received from your heart of love and compassion, let us freely give to all who are in need.
Praying. Praying everyday.
Jesus, you are an awesome and amazing God! You give us power over our enemies, everything we need in in your name. I thank you that we can speak the word of God over our situations and over our city to bring life where there is death. Lord, I thank you for an increase in healing; use the people of Impact Church to declare you healing word over people and to see a manifestation of that.
We want to see more; use us Lord! As we abide in you, fruit will happen and we will see your kingdom manifest in a greater way in London. Move in a great way in our service tomorrow, bring out people who have been thinking of coming for awhile and encounter them with your love. We ask for souls saved, bodies healed, and lives changed by your power!
Thank you God for life and life more abundant, thank you for Heavens perspective today, thank you for supernatural adventurers.
Thank you for a spirit of boldness upon your church, Your word going forth powerfully today. Our words seasoned with life bringing grace to all who hear.
We walk today in the higher reality of Your love that conquers all sickness and death, we speak harvest and fresh oil over Sunday service – we agree for a rich presence of healing power to be upon your people! Thank you souls, people hearing the gospel message, believing and receiving Your grace.
We pray for all those in transition right now, may they know that Your Spirit is guiding them to places of peace and prosperity. We ask for wisdom in all our decisions, favour and success over new ventures.
We pray for our government leaders and those in authority, we desire a Nation led by God fearing leaders that will bless the church. Leadership that will have morals and a backbone to oppose injustices. We agree for a bright future in Canada, healing to the Nations.
Ho! Hey! We enjoy the river that teems with life!
We have an awesome God that listens to our prayers. He has a huge capacity to hear all of our prayers. whether they be small ones or giant requests. He listens. He answers. He lets us take part! I read one of those anonymous quotes that makes sense to me, “You can accomplish more in one hour of prayer with God than one lifetime without Him”. With God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26) So let’s boldly tell our stories of healing and let’s boldly ask God for thoe things that seem impossible in our lives, in our families and in our very own Impact Church. I am a witness to the healing power of God in my own life. Thank you Jesus!
I’m in agreement with all the awesome prayers and declarations over the last few days. God is Mighty. God is Power. God is Wisdom. God is Love. God is Hope. God is Mercy. God is Good. God is Just. I pray His Might, Power, Wisdom, Love, Hope, Mercy, Goodness, and Justice floods over His entire Body here and to the outer regions of this planet. That this awesome Body of Christ be so filled with His Peace and His Joy that boldness overflows and nothing and no one on this earth can stop them. That as the Body is and goes, our LORD’s Miracles, Signs and Wonders will multiply superabundantly, proving He is who He says He is and that He’ll be greatly honoured and glorified. That by His Body, multitudes will come to Him to and through His Son Jesus, Lord of Lords and King of Kings. I pray that the indwelling Holy Spirit in the Body of Christ will be so personally manifested and magnified in each of us that we can’t help but hear Him and be obedient to His promptings. That an never ending tsunami of God’s Global Glory will take place and go on and on and on…. I speak it. I hope it. I believe it. I pray it. I’ll see it. This is God’s plan and nothing will thwart it–nothing–He’ll see to that. In Jesus’ mighty name! Thank You Jesus! Thank You Abba! Thank You Holy Spirit!
Wow … I agree … Amen and Amen!!!
What an amazing God we serve…He has given us Power and Authority on earth…Be Strong and of Good Courage:be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee wherever thou goest. (Joshua 1;9) …Give us all the BOLDNESS that is needed to proclaim your word and to guide us to do all healing in your name. Give our children strength, safety and and YOUR guidence in the coming school year. We ask for our Sunday Service that we would all encounter the Lord in a New Fresh Way as we gather in His name, more souls saved, more lives set free, and an even heavier manifestation of his Power and His Presence. This I Pray in the Mighty Name of Jesus…
I have been praying all of the directives today.
I had the opportunity to practice active faith today too. Somebody was recently diagnosed with cancer, and I was able to offer some help and care. I also shared a healing verse and a prayer cloth and am believing for COMPLETE HEALING!
