Day# 6 of 10 Days of Prayer

Day 6 of 10 Days Of Prayer
Authentication Of Signs And Wonders

September 6, 2015

Welcome to Day 6 of ten days of prayer. Lots of people busy with the long weekend. Hope you get a chance to drop in and pray. Leave us a note. Even just a short note … Like … “I’m Praying!!!”

Continuing with the prayer that made the earth shake. Acts 4:23-31

We are going to get results as we pray!!!

The first thing we do is: Focus On The Lord — Magnify His Great Name!

The second thing we do is: Get A Proper Perspective Of Our Adversaries.

The third thing is: Lord grant us all BOLDNESS!

The fourth thing is: Boldness to declare His Word.

The fifth thing is: Stretch Out The Healing Hand

Today the sixth thing is: Authentication Of Signs And Wonders

The early church, who lived in the shadow of the risen Christ, cried out for signs and wonders. We are called to relationship with God that is unexplainable. As believers our lives should be saturated with the GLORY of God. We are children of the Most High God and the supernatural is written in our DNA! It is unnatural for us not to have a hunger for the impossible to be in constant manifestation in our lives.

Father as we go out and boldly proclaim the Good News, we expect you to work with us by healing the sick and manifesting signs and wonders, authenticating the message in power.

Acts 4:30By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

We can see that this is exactly what happened. God answered their prayer. He will answer our prayer!

Acts 5:12And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people;…”

It wasn’t just the apostles. Philip, one of the first Deacons went out and had a signs and wonders revival.

Acts 8: 6And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

A disciple named Ananias was active in the supernatural. — Conversing with the Lord and obediently releasing the miraculous.

Acts 9:17-18 So Ananias left and went into the house. And he laid his hands on Saul and said, Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, Who appeared to you along the way by which you came here, has sent me that you may recover your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit. And instantly something like scales fell from [Sauls] eyes, and he recovered his sight. Then he arose and was baptized,…”

The Apostle Paul always ministered in the power of signs and wonders. He considered the full presentation of the Good News of Christ is not without the miraculous.

Acts 14:3Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

Romans 15:18-19Yet I dare not boast about anything except what Christ has done through me, bringing the Gentiles to God by my message and by the way I worked among them. They were convinced by the power of miraculous signs and wonders and by the power of Gods Spirit. In this way, I have fully presented the Good News of Christ from Jerusalem all the way to Illyricum.

1 Corinthians 4:20 For the kingdom of God is not in word (logus) but in power (dunamis).

Jesus said if there is not the evidence of the miraculous dont listen to the message.

John 10:37-38 (NLT) Dont believe me unless I carry out my Fathers work. But if I do his work, believe in the evidence of the miraculous works I have done, even if you dont believe me. Then you will know and understand that the Father is in me, and I am in the Father.

John 15:24 (NLT) If I hadnt done such miraculous signs among them that no one else could do, they would not be guilty. But as it is, they have seen everything I did, yet they still hate me and my Father.

John 20:30-31  And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”

The early church insisted on the miraculous. The Apostle Paul insisted on the miraculous. Jesus insisted on the miraculous. What about us?

If the early church, that was living in the shadow of the resurrection of Christ needed authenticating miracle then we need to cry out for them today!!!

Okay Lets Pray!!!

PRAYER DIRECTIVES:

Spend some time making God big in your life. Proclaim His greatness!!!

See yourself seated with Him, reigning and ruling.

Embrace a bold Spirit!

Be rich in the power of the Word.

Expect your hands to be tools of loosing the blessing … HEALING HANDS!!!

Know that when you use the NAME Of JESUS all the power of Heaven is available.

Pray for Sunday service. Pray that we would encounter the Lord in a fresh way as we gather in His name. Souls saved … lives set free … healing of every disease … a powerful manifestation of His presence.

Pray for a great day for our picnic. Many making stronger connections with the Impact family.

Pray for extraordinary signs and wonders to be in manifestation: To stir up the sleepy. To confront the apathetic. To disturb the religious. To torment the cynical and critical. To call forth the hungry and the broken. To signal that God is in the house attending to the needs of His people!!!

Dad. How can we say we know you and are yours and not expect to see the miraculous naturally happening around us in our everyday lives. Yet as I say that, I know what the frustration of not seeing the super”-natural happening in normal everyday living, and now I’m seeing it in a way that only whets my appetite for a much greater manifestation of what I read of in The Bible and see in the lives of some that I know and hear about. If this is normal christian living – and I’m 100% certain it is. Then I’m tired of living the sub-normal and somehow I feel I express thoughts of so many of my family when I say. God there is more than what I’m experiencing, and I want that greater stuff and experience.
What ever it takes to walk in that. I say I am willing to do and to give up to have it. And Grace as spoken of by Paul in Galatians and again by my pastor in his Sunday morning and beyond messages says that it’s all done for me and I don’t have to do anything more than what you’ve already done – complete and fully accomplished. I believe this is true. Fully true. So “Where’s the beef?” Where’s the manifestation of this in my here and now. And I ask for a community of family that walks the same way willing to do and give whatever it takes to have your fullness lived out in our everyday lifestyle.
Holy Spirit. Make me a person without mixture, walking in the graciousness of you. I want this to be the foundation of the rest of my days. Make me one in a host of many who are the same.

Thank for the access we have to the supernatural. We are living signs and wonders of a good God. We agree for hearts and lives today to be changed in Sunday service. May people see their need for grace, their need for truth, their need for an encounter with a loving Father. I agree for healing to manifest, signs and wonders that lead souls to Jesus.

We pray for a great gathering at the picnic tomorrow, authentic relationships and good fun! A time of refreshing and relationship building. We love you Jesus and love people, all people.

We thank you that Your grace is more than enough to shake up, stir up and lift up all. We believe and receive all that you are doing and all that you desire to be accomplished now! We get past low living and see people as you see them – we walk in the Spirit and enjoy the journey!!
