Day 1 of 10 Days Of Prayer, Jan 2022

DAY 1 OF 10 DAYS OF PRAYER 2022
By : Kelly Michalczyk

Today, I want to explore what prayer looks like when empowered by grace.

It doesn’t look like
Formulas;
It looks like
Partnering.

It doesn’t sound like
Begging;
It sounds like
A yes.

It doesn’t feel like
A chore;
It feels like
Responding to God.

Prayer is relational, we share what is on our mind, how we feel. It is an invitation of God into our lives. It is a lifestyle. It is talking to God. We ask him, with confidence, our heart’s desire. And we ask, believing, knowing we will receive. Knowing God hears and answers prayers. And not because I am good, or have convinced God, but because God is good.

And, remembering all of that, brings an assurance – a courage, to our prayers. A boldness. And we end up praying big prayers and dreaming big dreams. The kind of dreams that make God look big, that energize us, and benefit others. We pray grace prayers! We begin to declare good things, we proclaim the good promises – of salvation, healing, forgiveness, provision – and believe for miracles. And we do all of this because we know we’ve already been blessed with every spiritual blessing by the Grace of God.

Now, we’ve prayed, we’ve set things in motion! And then – here’s the fun part – we expect perpetual answers. The answers will come and continue to come. Our prayers don’t die. They don’t dissipate. We are not talking to a wall or into thin air. God does it! And WE LIVE IN A STATE OF ANTICIPATION! How will God answer? Which way will He come from? What does He want us to partner with next? There’s an excitement.

Then we see the answers and want to pray more. We experience His presence and want to keep enjoying Him. So, over these 10 days I encourage you, enjoy praying -knowing you’re empowered by grace. Come and live in anticipation with us.

Below are some suggested prayer topics to help you get started. And leave a comment, let us know you’re praying with us.

    Great word!
    Encouraging reminder that it’s not our responsibility to convince our Father to be good to us… He wants it more than we do!

    .. waiting time is not wasted time ..

    Amen!
    Father, what a joy to know it’s Your desire to bless us and we need not ‘convince’ you to be good to us.
    Help us to ‘see’ the place of rest you’ve brought us into, to prepare us for a season of great harvest..
    We believe waiting time is not wasted time!
    Hallelujah…

    Thank you God for freely giving us your grace.
    Open our hearts Lord, so that we may come to you in humility, because we know that you are good and that you want to help us, to bless us and to partner with us.
    Father help us to come to you boldly, and with great anticipation, knowing that you will give us our hearts desires, all we need to do is ask, and wait on you to receive.
    Help us to lean on you for all we need. With faith, hope and love we enter this new year with great expectation of your Grace. I’m excited and believing that Good things are still to come.
    Cover us and keep us all In Jesus name, amen.

    John 17:20-23 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

    This is the word that resonated in me as I listened to your wonderful exhortation on the truth of prayer which sets us free in our relationship and our communication with God. He really does love us just as he loved Jesus. May we experience the grace of knowing that we never live an unloved moment and that in 2022 God will see us through. We never walk alone!
