Day 10 of 10 Days of Prayer

Welcome to day 10 of “10 Days Of Prayer.”

Praying — Wage The Good Warfare

Today we want learn about how to wage war with the Prophetic Word. Pray the prayers that God wants you to pray. The prayers that find their source in Him. These prayer will alway get supernatural results

When Jesus taught the disciples to pray he said:

“Lord, teach us to pray, … And He said to them, When you pray, say:…”  Luke 11:1-4

“say” (lego):– to speak, to command, to direct, to point out with words.

“…believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.”  Mark 11:23-24

You get what you say!!!

“When the Word and the Spirit come together, there will be the biggest movement that the nation and indeed the world has ever seen. It will mark the beginning of a revival that will eclipse even the Wesleyan and the Welsh revival.” Smith Wigglesworth

Holy Ghost believers boldly confessing the Word of God will be that last day reformers and revivalists.

“The prophet comes to set up that which is upset. He is unpopular because he opposes the popular in morality and spirituality. In a day of faceless politicians and voiceless preachers, there is not a more urgent national need than our cry to God for a prophet.” Leonard Ravenhill

When we get a prophetic word it is not just so we can hear God’s voice. The Word from God has power to bring forth God’s eternal purpose. We must engage the Word with bold agreement and confession.

Luke 1:37 (NKJV) “For with God nothing (no rhema) will be impossible.”

(AMPLIFIED)  “For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.”

Mary agreed with the Word of the Lord and confessed it over herself.

Luke 1:38 “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.”

Luke 1:48 “For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant; For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed.”

Paul charged Timothy to wage the good warfare with the Word!

Good advice for us also. What has the Lord spoken to you. Believe Him. Pay attention to that Word. We are inspired and aided by the Word to make it so!!!

1 Timothy 1:18-20 “This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, 19 having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, (rejected the word … prophecy) concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck, 20 of whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I delivered to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme.”

Warring with the Word:– Bold  intentional prayer and confession of the prophetic word of God … being synchronized with the purpose of God in our day.

“…so that inspired and aided by them you may wage the good warfare,…” 1Timothy 1:18-19

What does he mean by learn not to Blaspheme?

It is blaspheme and an insult to God when He speaks to you and you don’t listen. That’s how it is used in this context. They rejected the Word.

Gods promises must be activated by bold faith confessions.

Isaiah 62:1-7 “…put the Lord in remembrance [of His promises], keep not silence,…”

Isaiah 55:11
“…it shall not return unto me void,…”

2 Chronicles 20:20 “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.”

It’s time for harvest … I believe it … Let’s confess it together in this season.

I will be unable to attend tomorrow’s sermon. My apologies but I cannot allow church to get in the way of God’s Word for me. The Western Fair has begun. It is going to be a long 10 days but I am very excited to be selling glass. My thanks go out to all those who have prayed for me in the healing rooms Thursday nights, up at the altar following Sunday sermons, and, to Pastor Karl and Pastor Cheryl for praying a blessing over my studio. Also, a special thanks goes out to Pat Watt. Your prophetic word on me my finding favour in the business world has come true – I applied for the booth at the fair way past the deadline, have found an excellent instructor, and, have a discounted rate with my two main suppliers. And, to John Watt, for his word that even my mistakes would turn out well – some of the most beautiful work I have done cannot be replicated due to the flaw.
Whether the booth is successful by worldly standards is of no concern at this point. “God calls on us, not to be successful, but, to be faithful”(Father Bernard Utley, O.S.B. He is at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church). By that standard, and the standard Pastor Karl spoke of today, my booth at the Western Fair is already a success in the eyes of God.

Father, Your words are released with power, purpose and provision. Every one of Your proceeding words come will all the strength to accomplish Your Will. We stand in confidence and boldness to speak back to You the many words that have been declared over this church, this ministry and this region. There is a destiny that will be fulfilled by this company of bold believers. “So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Isa 55:11
