Bootcamp Series #2 Determine

Series: “Preparing To Posses The Promises” Sermon #2 “Determine”

Are there things we can do NOW to prepare for what’s NEXT.

Two things to consider:
1. No matter where you go There YOU ARE
New view doesn’t mean new you.

2. Knowing what is NEXT doesn’t mean you’re READY.
“I Do” – Not the same as – “I Can”

Regret:– sorrow over an unfulfilled ambition.
Second most expressed emotion is regret. Second only to love.
I wish … _____________ If only … ______________

Let’s get fixed in a possession mindset.
Release Reflect Resolve
I am READY for what’s NEXT!

Ephesians is the New Covenant equivalent to the book of Joshua.

Ephesians 1:3, 11  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, …  In Him also we have obtained an inheritance,…”

Ephesians 1:21-23 He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Joshua 1:3-9 Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory.
No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.
Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.
Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

One act of COURAGE can open the door to SIGNIFICANT TRANSFORMATION

“Tank Man” temporarily stops the advance of a column of tanks on June 5, 1989, in Beijing. Day before the government had violently put down a protest

December 1, 1955, Rosa Parks, a soft-spoken African-American seamstress, refused to give up her seat to a white man,

On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther sounded the birth of the Reformation by posting his Ninety-Five Theses in protest

Courage is not the absence of fear.
Courage expressed makes fear stand in the corner. BEHAVE!!!

Courage is fear that has said its prayers. — Karl Barth
Courage is rightly esteemed the first of human qualities…because it is the quality which guarantees all others. — Winston Churchill
