Family Peace

Happy Family Day

Ephesians 3:14-15 “For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,…”

John 13:3-5 “Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, … He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet,…”

Proverbs 18:19 “A brother offended is harder to win than a strong city, And contentions are like the bars of a castle.”

Luke 7:20-23  “John the Baptist has sent us to You, saying, ‘Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?’ … ‘blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.’”

Skandalizo:— stumble and stone; to put a stumbling block or impediment in the way, upon which another may trip and fall, metaph. to offend

From the word Skandalon:—the movable stick or trigger of a trap

Matthew 5:41  “And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.”

Jews would step off the 1,000 paces — marker to marker one inch more.

Jesus says go further … serve your problem … love your enemy.

Be a second mile person!!!

1 Corinthians 3:3 “…for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?”

Philippians 4:2-7   “I implore Euodia and I implore Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also,  and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life. Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Pathway to supernatural Peace

5. Release One Another

Here comes supernatural peace!!!

“… and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
