10 Days of Prayer 2019 – Day# 10

10 Days of Prayer 2019. – Day# 10, Praying with Insight
By: Zach Sloane

Welcome to day ten!

It’s our last day but please feel free to print off the directives, save the videos, and use them as a guide as we go into 2019.

Make a habit of prayer, let it become a value and let God shape your heart with his desires and concerns for His house, His people, and His purpose.

When it comes to prayer it’s important to know what God wants to do, to have insight. One aspect of praying with insight Holy Spirit revealing to us what God’s will is in any given situation.

 1 Corinthians 2:9-10
But as it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.10 But God has revealed themto us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

We also know that God’s grand, overarching plan under which all else is subsumed is this: To fill the earth with knowledge of His glory,  by revealing His Son through you and me, through us the church. This is what we were predestined for.

Romans 8:29  (NKJV)
For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to beconformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Praying with insight can be informed by our perspective.

Isaiah 6:3 (NKJV)
And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy isthe Lord of hosts;
The whole earth isfull of His glory!

What you can see is determined by your perspective.

Mountain top perspective (seated wth Christ in heavenly places) (Revelation 21:10)

vs.

Wilderness / Valley Perspective – one shaped by anything less than the view point of being saturated in the presence of Jesus and seated with Him. (Revelation 17: 3)

Lets Pray:

Pray for the Person and finished work of Jesus to fill the vision and perspective of every believer.

Pray that each of us is captured by God’s passion and purpose for His house at Impact, SW Ontario and beyond.

Pray for the revealing of Christ in us. That we would all live out of His life, power, and presence within.

Pray that our attention, focus and perspective this year is infused with the reality of our immersion into Christ and His presence, and let us see and live from the vantage point of being seated with Him in heavenly places.

I do agree and I am meditating this morning on the wonderful truth …..I am immersed into Christ and His presence. What really touched my heart in what Zach had to say today is about our vantage point of being seated with Him in heavenly places. I checked the dictionary and the meaning of vantage point is: ” a position or place that affords a wide or advantageous perspective or viewpoint. To survey a valley from the vantage point of a high hill.” Wow, I don’t want to be caught too long looking at situations from my human. perspective but to be lifted up and look at and react to the way God views things and with an eternal perspective. Looking forwrd to discovering more of what God’s passion and purpose is in store for our Impact Church family in 2019. Thanks for the opportunity to be involved in the 10 days of prayer!

Yes and amen Deborah. I also was encouraged by Zacks teaching as well. I love the word in Revelation 21:10 -Mountain top perspective. As I listened to Zacks video, I’ve taken a 180 with an area in my life that I have struggled with due to a wrong perspective. As Zack was speaking I could really feel Holy Spirit shining a light on my weak perspective and allowing me to see myself seated with Him and seeing a new sunrise through Jesus wonderful eyes on His mountain top.
Thank you Father for our Impact church leaders. Bless them Father. What a blessing a privalage to have them in our lives.

Thank you Jesus that we have the mind of Christ and as we meditate on the word of God that our minds are being more and more transformed to see things the way You see them:) I pray that Impacters and beyond would see the great plans and movement of what You are up to in this earth and are ready to partner with with You. God let us wake up every day with expectancy and joy that it’s gonna be a good day because it is:) Thank you Jesus for your Faithfulness xo Amen ❤️

This is a high calling. Partnering with You to see Your glory fill the earth. Prayer is a big deal and this 10 Days has been a joy filled journey.

One day he prayed to Israel’s God, “Please bless me and give me a lot of land. Be with me so I will be safe from harm.” And God did just what Jabez had asked.
    1 Chronicles 4:10

If you did it before you will do it again! If you did it for Jabez you will do it for me! If you you did it then you will do it now!

    Thank you Jesus!!!

God give us a new perspective in 2019; your perspective! Let your church walk in the revelation that we are seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus! Wow! What an awesome place to be! Thank you that we can pray from that place and be so much more effective. Lord continue to fill the earth with the knowledge of your glory and use us, your church, to help bring that to pass!

I believe that God is revealing that he is releasing more power to us believers in this new year. He says that he is going to do things through us and we will say with our mouths open,” What just happened? So we need to pray and believe for signs and wonders!

What an amazing way to start 2019! May these first 10 days learning more about prayer, having directives for our prayers and being engaged in prayer set the tone for this new year. May we never take this precious gift of prayer for granted. May these 10 days be the launching pad to propel us forward for a year filled with powerful prayer, asking and petitioning our big God with big, outlandish requests because He is faithful to answer. We align ourselves with You, Lord, and expect that we will witness great and mighty things of You in 2019!! Amen!

In Him I have the faith of God, the peace of God, the favour of God, the mind of Christ, the gifts of the Spirit, the Anointing, the Presence, a blessed assurance and great confidence! If God be for us, who can stand against? Nothing and no one!
Let the awareness of the all powerful One who dwells within us be expressed in every way and every day. Let the people of God arise and do great exploits!
