Day 8 of 10 Days of Prayer 2022

I am having a great time praying with all of you. The videos, the blogs, the prayers you’re posting have all been helpful for me personally. And I’m starting to see answers to some of my prayers – I always find that encouraging. And that is why we are praying – to make a difference. In James, it tells us that prayer is powerful and effective (5.16).
Prayer is the way that God chose to work in the earth. He planted us here so we could advertise who God is and be His representatives in bringing about His Kingdom. In ancient times, the temple was the place where one met with God and where heaven and earth intersected. But now, I am God’s temple. You are God’s temple. It is through me, through us, through our prayer that heaven and earth coincide.
That’s why Jesus tell us to pray “your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6.10) That is why Jesus told us to ask for things and He will do it. (John 14.13, 16.24) Because He wants to dispatch answers through our prayers. He wants to advance God’s purposes here through our prayers. Our prayers make a difference. God is here and working. We are not making wishes and we are not self-deceived. We are agreeing with God. On earth as it is in heaven. We are praying empowered by grace.
Prayer Suggestions:
1. Thank God that we get to partner with Him by praying and bringing about His purposes on Earth.
2. Declare His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven (how is it in heaven?)
3. Share your praise reports and answered prayers to encourage others.
Thank you Father for the privilege of partnering with you. I pray for grace and mercy in the time of need for all those who ask, faith to see answers, and the encouragement that those answers bring us. In Jesus name.

Such a humbling reality to know that God partners with us. Such a huge responsibility to know that God will limit Himself to our partnership.
Father we declare your will done in earth. We pray for eyes to see and ears to hear. We pray that the body of Christ would be awakened to how powerful they are. We command the reality of your incarnation to be fully worked out in the affairs of earth. We see a church rising up that will declare and demonstrate the goodness of God. We embrace peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind. Good news! God is back and he is looking to the needs of His people.

Father – we join our faith and expectation with your purposes in the earth today. We declare your goodness and your glory are advancing before us as your body moves to demonstrate the increase of your government and peace for all creation! Let Your Kingdom come! Let Your will be done in this earth as it is in heaven!
