Day 4 of 10 Days Of Prayer, Jan 2022

DAY 4 Of 10 DAYS OF PRAYER 2022
“An Open Door”
By: Zach Sloan

Open doors to me are opportunities! Situations, circumstances unfolding that allow us access and permission to do, try, experience things we haven’t before. When doors open, obstacles are removed.

Jesus told church in Revelation he has set before them an open door, not because they were strong, or did mighty exploits but because they kept his word and didn’t deny his name, that was it! How many of us are trying to muscle open doors, knock down obstacles?

Revelation 3:8
“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.

You might think, sweet, no obstacles, easy sailing! Nope! Thats not life, and it wasn’t that churches experience either! Sometime things don’t go as planned. God never said it would be easy, but he did say He would open the door, specifically, open the door to new opportunities to share Jesus with people.

So lets do this:

Colossians 2:2-4
Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; 3 meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains, 4 that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

Pray for :
*open doors to share the gospel,
*access and opportunities that we previously not been able to enter into,
*for the gospel to manifest in our communities with power,
*and all of us to find creative new ways to share Jesus with those we love.

Amen swing open those doors and step right in – allow me to boast on my husband Terry who while in the hospital he has taken advantage of that setting to pray for health care workers and over time has got to know them and in his soft and gentle way he has confessed his testimony of Jesus to many of them. Now Lord open the oors to complete restoration.

Amen – the doors that God opens, no man can shut! Father we declare a unique and singular season of open doors for Impact churches. Doors that lead to fresh and unexpected opportunities to declare the grace and goodness of God – the true gospel of complete and finished renewal and restoration from the complete and finished work of Jesus. Doors that lead to new people and resources that will advance the Kingdom with exponential increase! Nothing is impossible for those that believe!
