10 Days of 10 Days of Prayer 2020
By: D. Karl Thomas

Sometimes you just have to turn up the volume. Do you mean pray louder Pastor? YES!!! It’s in the Bible. There are times when people found themselves in difficult situations and they turned up the volume. Is God deaf? No!!! Is He reluctant? No!!! He does say that He loves BOLD approaches. Put a bold demand on his mercy and unfailing love!!!

Psalm 95:1
“Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.

Hebrews 4:16 (AMP)
“Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace…”

Psalm 142:6 (NLT)
“Attend to my loud cry, (rinnah) for I am brought very low; deliver me from my persecutors, for they are stronger than I.”

Psalm 106:44
“Nevertheless He regarded their affliction, When He heard their cry;”
Hebrew — Rinnah:– too cry out, ear spitting scream

Psalm 50:15
Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”
Hebrew — Quara:– to call out in a loud voice

Psalm 102:1-2
“Hear my prayer, O Lord, And let my cry come to You. Do not hide Your face from me in the day of my trouble; Incline Your ear to me; In the day that I call, answer me speedily.”
Hebrew — Shava:– a high pitched shout

In Psalm 107 we see four time when you need to turn up the volume!!!

  1. Turn Up The Volume For The Wanderer

Psalm 107:4-6
“They wandered in the wilderness in a desolate way; They found no city to dwell in. Hungry and thirsty, Their soul fainted in them. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He delivered them out of their distresses.”

If your a wanderer … CRY OUT TO THE LORD. If you know a wanderer then cry out to the Lord for them. He is merciful and His love never fails.

  1. Turn Up The Volume For The Prisoner

Psalm 107:10,13-14
“Those who sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, Bound in affliction and irons—

Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses … He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, And broke their chains in pieces.”

The prisoner … even the rebellious … they can cry out and be delivered. You can cry out for them!

  1. Turn Up The Volume For The Sick

Psalm 107:18-20
Their soul abhorred all manner of food, And they drew near to the gates of death. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.

The sick … cry out … He wills to heal. Put a demand on His desire to heal.

  1. Turn Up The Volume For Those At Wits End

Psalm 107:27-28
“They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, And are at their wits’ end. Then they cry out to the Lord in their trouble, And He brings them out of their distresses.”

At your wits’ end … cry out to the Lord He will bring you out.

If you know someone at their wits’ end intercede for them to be delivered.

Come on folks!!! Let’s turn up the volume. Shout to the Lord!!! It breaks a heavy yoke. Shout to the Lord and see Him act on your behalf.

PRAYER DIRECTIVES:

Shout for those lost in darkness. Come to the light!!!

Shout for freedom to the captives. Addictions / Habitual Sin / Torment

Shout for healing to the sick and afflicted. Be healed because God is good!!!

Shout for those at their wits’ end. God will bring you through.

Shout to the city of London; “Come And See Yourself Here!!!”

Lord, I am weary. I CRY out to you in desperation! I want to keep going and I want to keep the faith but my affliction and desolation is encroaching on me and my family. You are my Strong Tower and I CRY out to You, You care for me and hear my cry.
You are the Deliverer of your people, on their behalf, I CRY out to You. We all need you and those in pain and torment, I lift them up to You with my SHOUT of desperation. Your good and perfect gifts of love, mercy and grace are more real and POWERFUL than any problem, sadness, sickness or attack of the enemy and I stir up my faith on behalf of those in our church, our neighbourhood, city and greater human race and CRY out – heal us, take us, be with us!!!

    In Jesus’ Name – Amen

    YAHOOOOIE….yAHOOOOIE……YAHOOOOIE….

We have the honor of crying out to the Lord with an earsplitting cry on behalf of those people who were with us in the Emergency Department recently. There were people with breathing problems, a person that were in the throes of heart failure, an elderly lady with a bad wound on her leg, and she did not understand how bad it was, or remember how it occurred, that had Dementia.

Shout for Freedom for the Captives, from Habitual Sin, Addictions, and Torment that are caused by these things, and puts them and their families in, and at their wits end. God will get them through.

We prayed for them then, and recalled them today. Not only do we cry out for their healing, but because Jesus also wants them healed, have Salvation, Peace, and Wisdom in their lives.

We are grateful to the Lord for Protecting Terry after his fall on the laneway. No Broken, fractured bones, and no injuries, at all, Praise Jesus.

And lastly, we CRY out to The Whole City Of London : SEE YOUSELVES HERE !!!

Many thanks to Impact London leadership for founding this new year in prayer!

A vital re-focusing once again on Jesus, the Light of the world. A deliberate removing of obstacles that affect our vision. An intentional return to our source of life and the powerful, glorious light of His indwelling presence in our lives is now being a display of His goodness and also is a lighthouse that will attract many seeking safety and solace.

We shout to the Lord with a voice of triumph!
