All 4 Gospels record the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
All 4 Gospels also record the baptism in the holy spirit.
When God repeats Himself 4 times He wants you to pay attention.

Matthew 3:11  “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”

Mark 1:8 “I indeed baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”

Luke 3:16  “John answered, saying to all, ‘I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.ʼ”

John 1:33  “I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.ʼ”

Holy Spirit
Holy :— (Hagios) a most holy thing, a saint     Spirit:— (Pneuma) a movement of air, a gentle blast, of the wind, hence the wind itself, breath of nostrils or mouth.

Doldrums:— parts of the Atlantic and the Pacific Ocean affected by the Intertropical Convergence Zone, a low-pressure area around the equator where the prevailing winds are calm. Periods when the winds disappear altogether, trapping sail-powered boats for periods of days or weeks.

Luke 24:45 (AMP) “Then He [thoroughly] opened up their minds to understand the Scriptures, …”
A supernatural understanding of the Scriptures was not enough to launch into ministry.
You Must Have Be Holy Spirit Baptized!

The first command to the church is not “GO” but “WAIT”.
Luke 24:49
(NLT)“And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.”

Acts 1:4-5 “… He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit…”

Acts 1:8 “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you;…”
Power:– {dunamis} inherent power, explosive TNT, Dynamite
Power to produce 5 things:   1. Miracles 2. Morality 3. Money 4. Multiplication 5. Movement

Acts 19:1-6  “And finding some disciples he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed? …when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.”

“Baptize”:– to immerse, to submerge, to bathe, to overwhelm, to pickle, to produce a permanent change. An identification and a union that results in a genuine change.

Three Baptisms
1. Spirit baptizes the believer into Christ / Body
2. Disciple baptizes a believer in water.
3. Jesus baptizes believer in the Holy Spirit

Jesus Himself followed this process.
1. He was born from above.    2. He was baptized in water.     3. He was baptized in the Holy Ghost.
John 1:33 “Spirit descending, and remaining on Him,”
Jesus didnʼt do any supernatural acts without the anointing.
The Spirit: “came upon Him” Luke 3:21-22   “led (drove) Him” Luke 4:1   “empowered Him” Luke 4:14 “anointed Him” Luke 4:18-21

Baptism Into Christ
Galatians 3:26-27  “For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.”

1 Corinthians 12:13 “For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body.”
Born again believers are baptized by the Spirit into the Body of Christ.
Acts 2:47
“And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.”

Baptism In Water
Acts 2:38  “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of
Acts 2:41 “ Then those who gladly received his word were baptized;”

Baptism In Holy Spirit
Be saturated with the nature and ability of Christ to fulfill His purpose in the earth. Luke 24Y49
“I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry…until ye be endued with power from on high.”

The Ministry Of Paul
1 Corinthians 4:20 “For the kingdom of God is not in word (Logus) but in power (Dunamis).”

1 Corinthians 2:4  “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.”

Romans 15:18-19  “…accomplished through me, in word and deed, to make the Gentiles obedient— in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.”

Charles Finney — I need power!
“But as I turned and was about to take a seat by the fire, I received a mighty baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit descended upon me in a manner that seemed to go through me, body and soul. I could feel the impression like a wave of electricity, going through and …  through me. Indeed it seemed to come in waves and waves of liquid love; for I could not express it in any other way. It seemed like the very breath of God.”
Ruwach:– wind, breath  Pneuma:– to breathe, to blow, wind

Charles G. Finney I was powerfully converted on the morning of the month of October, 1822. In the evening of the same day I received overwhelming baptisms of the Holy Ghost, that went through me, as it seemed to me, body and soul. I immediately found myself endued with such power from on high that a few words dropped here and there to individuals were the means of their immediate conversion. My words seemed to fasten like barbed arrows in the souls of men. They cut like a sword. They broke the heart like a hammer. Multitudes can attest to this. Oftentimes a word dropped without my remembering it would fasten conviction, and often result in almost immediate conversion.
