Psalm 50:2 “Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God will shine forth.”

Isaiah 60:1 “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.”
‘Owr:– illuminated, bright
Zarach:– to rise, come forth, break out

Daniel 12:3 “Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.”

You understand more fully the mission of the Kingdom when you see a friend or a family member set free.

Why did Solomon ask for wisdom?
1 Kings 3:7 “You have made Your servant king instead of my father David, but I am a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in.

Numbers 27:15-17 “…Let the Lord, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation, who may go out before them and go in before them, who may lead them out and bring them in,…”

Deuteronomy 31:1-2 “Then Moses went and spoke these words to all Israel. And he said to them: “I am one hundred and twenty years old today. I can no longer go out and come in.”

Deuteronomy 28:6 “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.”
Not just coming and leaving your house.

John 10:9 “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.” Jesus will show you how to go in and come out.

Joshua 14:11 “As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both for going out and for coming in.”
A military term. Warfare

Old Testament was a shadow or a type for us.
Their battle was manifest physically.
Our battle is spiritual.
Not a battle against flesh and blood … but for souls.

Coming in:– WORSHIP Going out:– WITNESS

1 Samuel 18:12-16 “12 Now Saul was afraid of David, because the Lord was with him, but had departed from Saul. 13 Therefore Saul removed him from his presence, and made him his captain over a thousand; and he went out and came in before the people. 14 And David behaved wisely in all his ways, and the Lord was with him. 15 Therefore, when Saul saw that he behaved very wisely, he was afraid of him. 16 But all Israel and Judah loved David, because he went out and came in before them.”

Coming In — WORSHIP

1. Brings God’s Presence
“The Lord was with him…”
Luke 24:49 “…stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.”

David was a passionate worshipper of God. Dance Sing Clap Wave your hands
You come into His presence and you leave clothed in His presence.
Intimate lovers make better warriors.

Prokoneo:– bow down and kiss towards!!!

Saboth … at least one day a week … set it apart to focus on me!!!

Make an open confession that I can’t do anything without GOD!!!

Lets shout to God right now!!!!!

2. Bring The Fear Of God
“Saul was afraid of David,…”
The enemy is afraid of Jesus with you.
The spirit that is at work in their lives is destroyed by the presence of God in your life.

When Saul was tormented by the evil spirit they called on David to bring the presence of God through worship to deal with it!

This is a battle for souls and you need the big guy with you to confront what is blinding peoples eyes

3. Brings God’s Wisdom
“…behaved wisely and the Lord was with him.”

2 Chronicles 9:1-4
“Now when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to Jerusalem to test Solomon with hard questions, having a very great retinue, camels that bore spices, gold in abundance, (9000 lbs) and precious stones; and when she came to Solomon, she spoke with him about all that was in her heart. 2 So Solomon answered all her questions; there was nothing so difficult for Solomon that he could not explain it to her. 3 And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, the house that he had built, 4 the food on his table, the seating of his servants, the service of his waiters and their apparel, his cupbearers and their apparel, and his entryway (upper room) by which he went up to the house of the Lord, there was no more spirit in her.”

Sheba was the greatest ruler of the day … She came to disprove and challenge Solomon.

Where the wise men came from … they were know for their wealth and intelligence. They prided themselves in riddles and reasonings

She was the wealthiest and smartest … she wanted to go prove herself and bust this player.

She wanted to show him her wealth and to test him.

But when she saw him operate in His upperroom her fight (argument pride suspicions) were broken.
She saw how he behaved in the presence of God! His face to the ground.

Worship brings His presence … The fear of the Lord … His Wisdom

We reach people by the way we come in.
Make a commitment to coming in.
I’m going to really worship God … more aggressive more passionate … more powerful … more dedicated!!!

Coming in:– WORSHIP Going out:– WITNESS

You can’t go out until you come in. BUT, you are called to go out!

You can’t just come in.

You are not like the dead sea constantly recieving … you are like a flowing river … constantly refreshed by the rains of His presence and losing a breaker anointing on all you see!!!

Why did David fall?

2 Samuel 11:1-5
It happened in the spring of the year, at the time when kings go out to battle, that David sent Joab and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the people of Ammon and besieged Rabbah. But David remained at Jerusalem.
2 Then it happened one evening that David arose from his bed and walked on the roof of the king’s house. And from the roof he saw a woman bathing, and the woman was very beautiful to behold. 3 So David sent and inquired about the woman. And someone said, “Is this not Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?” 4 Then David sent messengers, and took her; and she came to him, and he lay with her,

If you only come in, without going out, you don’t go up higher, you go into yourself.

When you stop giving you turn inward not upward.

You get your needs met by giving.
Luke 14:15-24
15 Now when one of those who sat at the table with Him heard these things, he said to Him, “Blessed is he who shall eat bread[a] in the kingdom of God!”

Won’t it be great to be in Heaven!!!! Jesus next thought is… there are still people not going to make it.

16 Then He said to him, “A certain man gave a great supper and invited many, 17 and sent his servant at supper time to say to those who were invited, ‘Come, for all things are now ready.’ 18 But they all with one accord began to make excuses. The first said to him, ‘I have bought a piece of ground, and I must go and see it. I ask you to have me excused.’ 19 And another said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to test them. I ask you to have me excused.’ 20 Still another said, ‘I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.’ 21 So that servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house, being angry, said to his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in here the poor and the maimed and the lame and the blind.’ 22 And the servant said, ‘Master, it is done as you commanded, and still there is room.’ 23 Then the master said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. 24 For I say to you that none of those men who were invited shall taste my supper.’
