Day 2 of 10 Days of Prayer

Day 2 of 10 Days of Prayer
By: Pastor D. Karl Thomas

Day one we talked about The Father. You are a child of a gracious and loving heavenly Father; You may believe you are a child of God, but do you believe, really believe to your very core, that you are loved by God? This can be a difficult truth to grasp, even for the most fervent believer. Guilt, shame and fear can prevent us from believing in and experiencing the love of God. I love the verse from this song we sing in worship service:

Oh, I’ve heard a thousand stories
Of what they think You’re like
But I’ve heard the tender whisper
Of love in the dead of night
And You tell me that You’re pleased
And that I’m never alone
“Good Good Father” — By House Fires

Before Jesus even did a lick of ministry the Father made an open declaration, “And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.’”  Mathew 3:17 Before we do anything for the Father He wants us to know that He loves us for who we are and not what we do for Him.

The two truths that are the most important for you to experience the full benefits of your relationship with God are that you are God’s child and that God is a good Father. Tell yourself that today, over and over. It’s who you are, and it’s who He is.

Luke 11:14
“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

Best thing Moses ever did was ask God who are you? Show me?

Exodus 34:5-7
God Reveals Himself As He Really Is.
“God descended in the cloud and took up his position there beside him and called out the name, God. God passed in front of him and called out, “God, God, a God of mercy and grace, endlessly patient—so much love, so deeply true—loyal in love for a thousand generations, forgiving iniquity, rebellion, and sin. Still, he doesn’t ignore sin. He holds sons and grandsons responsible for a father’s sins to the third and even fourth generation.”

1. Merciful
He runs to your mess. He values you. Doesn’t accuse you.

2. Gracious
Getting what you don’t deserve.  Empowers us to excel.

3. Endlessly Patient
He never quits on you. No “eggshells” Sees the finished you!

4. So Much Love
He is consistent. He is not moody. Be yourself.

5. Deeply True
Trustworthy Never lies.  His Word never fails.

6. Forgiving
To a 1000 generations. He removes your sin. Establish you in peace!

He is your heavenly Father! He is a good good Father!

Prayer Directives:

1. You are God’s child and that God is a good Father. Tell yourself that today, over and over. It’s who you are, and it’s who He is.
2. We want this to be a year where God is represented well. Let His goodness (GLORY) flow through us and be manifest in our world.
3. We pray for all those in authority as this year begins. Lord grip their heart with the reality that they serve at your pleasure. Let us experience peace and prosperity because we soak them in prayer.
4. Let the above benefits of your goodness be a working revelation in our in the Body of Christ. Let every misrepresentation of your nature be cast down. Jesus you revealed the Father. Jesus is God.
5. Pray the Lords Prayer again. Let the revelation in that prayer form your time of waiting on God. Partner with Him as He shares directives with you. Have an awesome day!!!

    Matthew 6:9-13
Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us today the food we need, and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

I am your child and you are my good good Father.

Flood every level of government with the knowledge of Yourself.

Let 2018 be a year where your government and peace press in in a more substantial way.

You are my Lord and my God! I desire that to be a present reality in every aspect of my day.

May I put other people and there needs ahead of my own because all my needs are met in You! Let Your love reign!

Bless my family and my Impact family in Jesus Name!

Luke 11:13 is an awsome scripture that not only shows us our Heavenly Fathers desire to provide us with materiel needs but also give us spiritual needs which is the Holy Spirit if we just ask. Heavenly Father, I pray and ask for a greater release of your spiritual and materiel needs for everyone at Impact Church so we can impact our world and be great fishers of men and women in this time of harvest,in Jesus name amen.

Father God if there is one truth I stand on in my life it is that you are Loving, that your mercies are new every morning, that you are faithful when we are faithless, and that you are so forgiving, patient, kind, and that you never leave us. We can wake up every morning resting in all this, wow, what a way to start a day,!

So today I stand with my brothers and sister in the Lord and pray and believe that 2018 is going to be a great year. We are believing for those in government to have there hearts moved towards your ways, your truths, in your Kingdom.!

We are all taking territory in our own lives, we are a church with victory, we win because you defeated the works of the enemy and we thank you that the body of Christ is getting this revelation, and their hearts are understanding that you Love them. LOVE NEVER FAILS!!

    Amen

Father, your goodness is unfailing, your goodness is eternal and your goodness is essential to who you are. Your goodness is our foundation for secure living even in the midst of uncertain times. In every circumstance, we trust in your goodness and the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love you constantly lavish on your children. Truly knowing that your are for us and not against shifts our perspective and gives us courage to face each day. We, your children acknowledge you – our Good Good Father!
We declare today that the knowledge of your Goodness is expanding and encompassing all levels of authority and government (Isa 9:7). Hearts of kings are being changed and drawn into alignment with your divine plans and purposes. Your children rise up today and declare – Your kingdom come! Your will be done!

Father, we acknowledge your presence in our lives, and trust your leading as we live and move and have our being. We pray your Holy Spirit, the precious teacher of the church, would lead us into all truth so we will represent you truly and effectively in our families, communities, and our country. May your Glory be seen in us, may your will be accomplished through us, and may your Name be great in Canada. We ASK! Amen!

Deborah and Terry are praying along with “you all” and we just want to declare that we have had so many experiences and history with our loving God in our lives ….we know we are his children and he is so gracious loving and merciful toward us. I (Deborah) remember specifically way back in the day when I was considering asking Jesus to come into my heart …contemplating Holy Spirit and actually asking Him, to come and live in mer……I was nervous, but believing finally that He is a good God and that He loved me even more than my earthly father…taking that step of faith and belief in His character, His love, His promises was the best decision ever!

Amen Pastor Karl! This has been a consistent message I have received going into the New Year. That is, God is good and is faithful to deliver on his promise and even do abundantly beyond what we ask. The church is constantly in my prayers. I don’t think I would have had the strength to make it through hadn’t it been for the blessing of your teachings, the elders and the overall fellowship at Impact Church. Blessings on blessings to the ministry in 2018. Favor upon Favor. Glory upon Glory…I feel it coming! In Jesus’ name. Miss everyone out there. Peace and love.

Awesome Father, loving, caring wonderful Jesus I praise you, we praise you. We praise you that deep down at the core of our being we can stand strong immoveable in the knowledge and understanding of how deeply you love us. O Lord how utterly awesome it is to just stand in that Love, to breath it , to feel it pulsing in me just like my physical heart, giving me life and hope and motivation and all manner of things. O Lord during 2018 release your healing power over all of London and beyond so that people will know that you are Lord as you fulfill this scripture every Sunday, every day in our midst: Matthew 11:5 NIV [5] The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor. O Lord go beyond all we ask and imagine and bring great healing to this city and nation.
