Jesus didn’t come to just give us eternal life He came to give us victorious life.
1 Thessalonians 5:23“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

3 John 1:2“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”

Exodus 15:26  “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians.For I am the Lord who heals you.”

Exodus 23:25“So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness awayfrom the midst of you.”
Deuteronomy 7:15“And the Lord will take away from you all sickness,”

Psalm 103:3“Who forgivesall your iniquities, Who healsall your diseases,”
These are linked together in the Bible. They go together.

Luke 4:16-21 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, … anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; …to heal the brokenhearted, …liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; …Todaythis Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

Matthew 4:23-24“…preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of diseaseamong the people … they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.”

Isaiah 53:4-5  (AMP)“Surely He has borne our griefs(sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy].”

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.”

Matthew 8:16-17“When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilledwhich was spoken by Isaiahthe prophet, saying: ‘He Himself took our infirmities And  bore our sicknesses.’”

1 Peter 2:24“…who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.”
Hebrews 13:8“Jesus Christ is the sameyesterday, today, and forever.”

Luke 4:40“When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them.”

Of the 1,257 narrative verses in the Gospels 484 (38.5 percent) are devoted to describing healing miracles.

Acts 9:33-35 “…had been bedridden eight years and was paralyzed. And Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed.” Then he arose immediately. So all who dwelt at Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.”

How do you get healed? Same way you got forgiveness.
He graciously provided it and you by believing Him received it.
Ephesians 2:8“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,”
sode’-zo:— rescue, save from destruction, heal, restore health

Matthew 10:8“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”    We have been given the same mandate. GO!!!

Mark 16:17-18“And these signs will follow those who believe: …they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

2 Healing Encounters Of Jesus:   1. Jesus Initiates John 5:1-15
He was qualified.  —  He was waiting.  —  He was distracted. —   He was confronted.  —  He was healed.
He was attacked. —  He was telling everyone.

John 5:1-15
“After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2 Now there is in Jerusalem (Teaching of PEACE double peace)by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda,(House of olives House Of Mercy){HE WAS QUALIFIED —HE WAS IN THE PLACE OCE OF BLESSING}having five porches. 3 In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, [b]paralyzed, [c]waiting for the moving of the water.4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had. 5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmitythirty-eight years.  {HE WAS WAITING —  WHERE WERE YOU 38 YEARS AGO}6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”

{HE WAS CONFRONTED}7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man {HE WAS DISTRACTED}to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”   DECEIVED ABOUT THE SOURCE AND AVAILABILITY OF HIS HEALING
8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.”9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.   {HE WAS HEALED — JESUS WORDS HAVE POWER}
And that day was the Sabbath. 10 The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.”  {HE WAS ATTACKED — RELIGIOUS CAN’T SEE STRAIGHT}
11 He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.’ ”
12 Then they asked him, “Who is the Man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk’?” 13 But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. 14 Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”   (UNBELIEF — SIN HAS PUNISHMENT ALL OF ITS OWN)
15 The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well.” {HE AS TELLING EVERYONE — JESUS MADE ME WELL}

2. We Initiate  John 4:49-51
“The nobleman said to Him, “Sir, come down before my child dies!” 50 Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your son lives.” So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way. 51 And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told him, saying, “Your son lives!”

YOU DON’T HAVE TO WAIT — YOUR IN THE PLACE OF SHALOM, OLIVES, MERCY — DO YOU WANT TO BE MADE WELL
