WASHED | BLOOD SAYS YES RESURRECTION SAYS AMEN

Series: “Washed” Sermon #4: “Blood Says Yes Resurrection Says Amen”

Mark 16:1-15 “Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him.  Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.  And they said among themselves, ‘Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?’
But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away—for it was very large. And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed. But he said to them, ‘Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.
But go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.’ So they went out quickly and fled from the tomb, for they trembled and were amazed. And they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.
Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons.  She went and told those who had been with Him, as they mourned and wept.  And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe.
Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.  And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.’"

Revelation 1:5-6 “To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

True redemption is found exclusively through the blood of Jesus.
A working revelation of the blood of Jesus will give you ongoing access to the glory of God.
Where the blood of Jesus flows the Holy Spirit goes.

“The flesh is the hinge of salvation.” Tertullian
Salvation is grounded in real human experience.
The brutality of the cross isn’t incidental. It is essential for total healing to be realised.

4 Truths Regarding The Blood
1. It Has To Be Blood.
2. It Had To Be Jesus Blood.
 3. Jesus’ Blood Had To Be Shed.
4. The Blood Must Be Applied

1 Peter 2:24 (ESV) “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.”

1 Corinthians 15:17,19 (NLT) “And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins. … we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world.”

Hebrews 13:20-21 “Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,  make you complete in every good work to do His will,…”

Hebrews 12:24 (TPT) “And we have come to Jesus who established a new covenant with his blood sprinkled upon the mercy seat; blood that continues to speak from heaven, ‘forgiveness,' a better message than Abel’s blood that cries from the earth, ‘justice.’”

Abel’s blood cried from the ground. Jesus’ blood speaks from the throne!
Abel’s blood said, “Something is wrong.”
Jesus’ blood says, “It has been made right!”

Colossians 2:12 (TPT) “You were co-buried with Him and then raised to new life because you were united with Him.”

(synekathizō) — seated together with You’re not trying to get there — You’re already enthroned with Him.

Romans 4:25 (TPT) “Jesus was handed over to be crucified for the forgiveness of our sins and was raised back to life to prove that He had made us right with God!”
