God is working to restore the Union of Heavens and Earth.

Luke 19:10 “for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
τὸ ἀπολωλός (to apolōlos) — literally “that which has been lost.” It hints at the whole of God’s created order. Jesus brought Heaven to earth. — The Church brings Heaven to earth.

Jesus didn’t just die to save individuals. 
He died to create a people, a family, a community. Born into something!
Church:— a living expression of the Divine eternal community of Father, Son, and Spirit.

We are the means for the Union of Heavens and earth.
We are the means for the eternal purpose to be realised.
We are where people encounter GOD!

The Community Is Formed. The Community Moves Out. The Community Has A Message.

John 16:24 (CEV) “You have not asked for anything in this way before, but now you must ask in my name. Then it will be given to you, so you will be completely happy.”

Ephesians 1:20 (Message) “God raised him from death and set him on a throne in deep heaven, in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no name and no power exempt from his rule.”

Ephesians 1:20-21 “… he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,  far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.”

Philippians 2:9-10 “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,”

Acts 16:31 “So they said, ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.’”
Saved:— (sōzō) to save, keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction, to make well, heal, restore to health.

Acts 3:19-21 “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,  and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.”

Religion exalts behaviour and not the Saviour.

Mark 1:14-15 “Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. (New Facts) Repent, and believe in the gospel.’”

Repent Metanoeo (met-an-o-eh'-o):-- compound of after and thought; to think differently afterwards, that is, reconsider. Changed mind in light of new evidence. Can’t have repentance without new information.

Metanoeo always = Repent
English word repent is from latin word Reponitet. Reponitet:— to be sorry again, to do penance

Three Stages Of Metanoeo:
1. Revelation -- New information
2. Realignment -- Agreeing with the new information, Confession Homologueo :— Say same thing
3. Reassignment -- Experiencing the promise.
