The church was in a really good place!!!

John 17:21 (MSG) “The goal is for all of them to become one heart and mind— Just as you, Father, are in me
and I in you, So they might be one heart and mind with us. Then the world might believe that you, in fact, sent
me.”

John 17:22-23 (NKJV) “And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We
are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one,…”

1 John 1:3-4 (NLT) “We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may
have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We are writing
these things so that you may fully share our joy.”

Glory:— (Doxa) glory, honour, splendour, or reputation. value, worth, and recognition.
Jesus wants us to see ourselves through the Father’s eyes—valued, honoured, and included in the very
fellowship of Father, Son, and Spirit.

The opinion of The Father's face towards you produces an opinion of yourself in you.
What you are BEHOLDING you BECOME.

Acts 5:1-11 “But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. And he kept back
part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
But Peter said, ‘Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price
of the land for yourself?

While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you
conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.’

Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who
heard these things. And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him.

Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. And Peter
answered her, ‘Tell me whether you sold the land for so much?’

She said, ‘Yes, for so much.’ Then Peter said to her, ‘How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit
of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.’

looking for someone to devour.”

Matthew 6:1 “Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them”

Mark 7:6 “This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me”
Genesis 3:5 “For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God,
knowing good and evil.” To live independently of God is the choice that brought death into the world.

destruction by taking any of them.”

Leviticus 10:1 (NIV) “Nadab and Abihu took their censers, put fire in them and added incense; and they
offered unauthorized fire before the Lord, contrary to his command. So fire came out from the presence of the
Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord."

2Samuel 6:6-7 “When they came to the threshing floor of Nakon, Uzzah reached out and took hold of the ark
of God, because the oxen stumbled. The Lord’s anger burned against Uzzah because of his irreverent act;
therefore God struck him down, and he died there beside the ark of God.”

Satan offered Glory without a Cross.
Matthew 4:10. “Jesus said to him, ‘Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and
serve him only.’”

Mercifully performance and hypocrisy were exposed before the culture became toxic.
Like a surgeon cutting out cancer early, God removed hypocrisy before it spread.

God desires authenticity, not perfection.
