#OOTD | “Divine Peace” Sermon

We're going to talk about the outfit of the day. I just want to say I'm surprised that nobody spot George's clothes yet. But anyways, they're all still there, you know, so, Stephen, there's some cool stuff there. Come on. You like those?

Yeah, Getting jiggy with them. You got your red shoes on today and everything. That's good. All right, I'm gonna. I'm really sorry.

I'm a little messed up. I'm a little. Having a hard time connecting my thoughts. So, Madeline, what we're talking about, Ephesians, chapter six. Why don't you read that for us?

Read that for us. Right there. Now, beloved ones, I have saved these important truths for last. Be supernaturally infused with the strength through your life, union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you.

Like, what would that feel like? Like, look at that. His explosive force, his power flowing through you. Does anybody got some of that going on right now? You feel the juice of glory all over you, man.

That's good. So here it is. You got Ephesians all the way through. You get to chapter six and five chapters of amazing stuff. And then Paul says, I'm saving the best for last.

And he starts talking about us walking and manifesting, experiencing these most important truths. It's good. Good stuff. This is Watchmani. Watchmani.

How many know Watchmani is. Watchmani was a Chinese believer who the communists threw in jail. And he wrote a lot of really great books. He wrote a book about Ephesians, and he called it Sit, Walk, Stand, Sit, Walk, Stand. We're seated with him in heavenly places.

We walk like this. We stand firm in his purposes. But here's what he said. He said, for our part, we need not struggle to occupy ground that's already ours. It's already ours.

You don't need to struggle for this. It's already ours. In Christ, we are conquerors, nay, we are more than conquerors. In Him, Therefore, we stand thus today. We do not fight for victory.

We. We fight from victory. So I'm not trying to win a battle. I'm trying to appropriate an already won battle. I'm enforcing the victory that God's already established in my life, because it's mine.

It's mine. It's mine. So we do not fight in order to win, because Christ has already won. Overcomers are those who rest in the victory already given to them by their God. When you fight to get the victory, then you have lost the battle at the very outset.

So I'm not struggling to get something, I'm not struggling to win. I'm just struggling to receive and to walk in and fully manifest all that he has for me. Amen. So we talked about truth. And number one, you gotta be established in truth.

Ephesians 6:14 says, Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you, to stand in triumph. And triumph is a word that is used. Triumph is the party after the victory. So I'm not standing to try to win. I'm not standing to get victory.

I am standing in and positioned in the overwhelming joy of the party after everything is won. So stand firm and hold your ground. Having tightened the wide band of truth, personal integrity, moral courage around your belt. So there's a picture of the belt. Remember the belt?

Were you here Sunday for the belt? All right. The belt. You got to get established in truth. That's the first thing you gotta have, is truth.

Because what does the devil want to do? Madeleine? What does he want to do? He wants to bring you down. He does.

He wants to distract you. Distract you. And that's why mind renewing your mind is really important. Really important. Because when you remember that, that you're seated with him in heavenly places, this is where you can remember that the victory is yours, like it's already been won.

And to remember your position. Truth. What's the opposite of truth? Lies. Lies, Deceit.

Who is he? His name is the devil. The devil. The father of lies. The father of lies.

And I thought Henry last week talked about that often. The enemy is not described as a noun. Many times in Scripture. He's devoted. He's described as a verb.

He's the slanderer, he's the deceiver, he's the liar, he's the accuser. And those are all verbs. Those are things he does. But that's why you need to stand in truth. Because when he comes, I know that's wrong.

What you're saying to me is wrong, man. And I can cast that down because I know the truth. Know the truth and the truth will make you free. So everything begins in truth. Everything begins in truth.

It says if you don't fix yourself in truth, you pervert all other instruments of war. It's the first thing to go on, because everything else is connected to your sword is in your belt. Your blessed plate is connected to your belt. Everything is connected. And if you don't have truth, you got your belt hanging around your ankles.

You're not a very good warrior. Not going to get too far. Truth is the first piece Truth is the central piece. It's. This is important right here.

This is important right here, Madeline. It's not an accumulation of information, but it's foundational sincerity of heart. See, if truth was. If I'm only going to walk in God, as well as I'm able to assimilate and remember and get information, it's not. Get a bunch of information so you can be free.

Truth is a person. And you got Jesus. So because you got Jesus, you've got truth. Truth is in you in every way. So you can put a demand on that.

That truth, that truth will speak for you. That truth will guide you. And you got the spirit of truth in you who says he will lead you into all truth, so you don't have to worry. Do I know enough? Did I memorize enough scripture?

Did I get to enough conferences? You got to know that you went. You did. One conference is necessary. Here it is.

You ready? It's the believers conference. I believe, I receive. I now am embodied with all truth, and there's nothing Jesus will withhold from me. So you are so advantage.

You've got all the truth, all the time. Boom. So then we have the breastplate. Henry's talking about the breastplate a bit last week. He talked about a lot of stuff.

But the breastplate is having put on the breastplate of righteousness, right after truth comes righteousness. Second Corinthians 5, 21 says, he made Christ who knew no sin to judicially be sin on our behalf so that in him would become the righteousness of God. And that's why we take communion, right? Yeah, we do. To remember the righteousness of God.

That is, we would be made acceptable to him and placed in a right relationship with him by his gracious, loving kindness. So good. So righteousness, again, just like truth is a finished work reality. Is anybody righteous here? Is anybody like 99% righteous?

Just 1% off. You don't want to be 1% off, because if you start 1% off, it's like they were hanging some ductwork over across, and they were a quarter inch off at the start. And I said, well, you better fix that, because time we get to the end, it'll be off by like a foot, you know? So if you're missing just a little bit, it's a big deal. I mean, let's say 99% of surgeries go well in London.

99, 99%, they go well. Do you want to be the 1%? If this 1% don't go well, there'd be a bunch of people dying in London this week. I mean, we need 100%. And you know what?

You didn't get a bit of righteousness. You got God's righteousness, his quality of righteousness. You are 100% righteous in every single way. Any righteous people here today. And that's the truth.

See, in truth, when you know the truth and you know the revelation that he became sin for me, that I might become. Did Jesus become sin for you? Past, present and future? What are you. The righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

Boom. Romans 5:17. One of my favorite favorite verses. You should memorize this. Stick it on your forehead.

You should do something with it. For by one man's offense, death reigned. Has anybody seen the reign of death? Like, it's pretty powerful, isn't it? Look what death did look like.

That one. That one act entered into the world and caused so much grief. But it says one man, one man. Because of one man, death reigned through the one. Much more, say.

Much more. I mean, if that was a big deal, Let me give you a bigger deal. Let me. Let me give you a bigger deal. Let me supersize it.

Ready? Ready. Those who receive the abundance of grace, those who achieve, those who qualify, those who work hard, those who straighten out their lives. No, those who receive the abundance. Grace is not a little bit.

Grace is hyper. It's Hooper. It's over top. I mean, if you don't believe in hyper grace, you don't understand God. You got to receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness.

Did you receive the gift of righteousness? It's a gift. You are righteous because it's a gift. They will reign in the sweet by and by. They will get to heaven and they will.

No, it says, you'll reign right now when you embrace and you. You yield the abundance of God's grace coming on you like a river. Just an unceasing flow of his goodness. And then boom. The gift of righteousness.

You reign right now. Just the more years that I'm a believer and walk the earth, the more I realized that the whole gospel is just. It's all a gift. It is. And it's simply receiving.

And I used to love works like I just. Well, you got to work for like. And because you're a good person. Like the older brother, right in the story of the prodigal. Just so frustrated people that just go blow everything and they come home and they still get to partake in the party, you know, the free gift of salvation.

But the more that I study and learn about salvation and righteousness and holiness. It's just. It's a gift that you just have to receive. Yes. Including his peace, which we're talking about today.

Isn't that good? Yeah, because if it's performance, I mean, did I do enough? Was I good enough? If it's always scalable, how do I know if I've done the bell, you know? But I'm 100% right.

I'm walking 100% in truth. And I got it all as a gift. All right, so there's a shoe. Anybody see a shoe? Do you see that shoe?

You like that? Who's got a pair of those? You got a pair of those? My wife's got a pair of high cuts, too. Now, when I was a boy, way back a long time ago, when I played on the basketball team in high school, everybody wore Converse All Stars.

We didn't have Air Jordans. We didn't have all that stuff back then. But. But this was it. You wore Converse All Stars.

We all wore those. They were great shoes. We wore the high cuts, you know, and boom, that's what we wore on the basketball floor. So if you were wearing a pair of those when I was a kid, it's because you're gonna go play basketball. Basketball.

Now people who don't even know how to play, they wear them. It's an abuse. It's an abuse. They are the comfy shoes. I own a pair, and they're very comfortable.

They're good. And they get traction like you get yourself on a floor. I mean, they got traction. Can you say traction? All right, okay, here's another pair.

Something. These are. What do we got here? What's this person doing? Swimming?

Scuba? Snorkeling? Doing something. All right, we got another shoe. What's this person doing?

What's this person doing? Golfing. That's right. If you put those on, you're gonna go golfing. You don't see people every day, you know, out at the mall wearing their golf shoes.

I mean, it's because you're doing something. There's specific shoes for stuff. Here's another cool pair of shoes. You like these shoes? Sorry, cloggy.

Is that what you do, clogging? You don't know how many had a pair of these shoes? How many? I mean, I had some like that. I.

I don't know where they went. My wife probably threw them out. But how many had, like, platform shoes? How many are old enough to remember disco? Oh, Remy, for sure you had several people.

You probably still got some of those Right. You do check out your closet. But, man, we'd go. We'd go and disco, you know? No, but I said anyways, that you'd be.

You'd be going out clubbing, out dancing. Now these shoes right here. Hey, what are you doing? If you got a pair of. Madeline.

Oh, my God. I just had to. So pastor's like, yeah, we're like, we'll be preaching together. We're going to be talking about shoes. And he taught.

He starts. He's always sarcastic, so he says he's going to be talking about a spiritual gift. He said he's going to be. Oh, yeah, And Crocs. Like, we're going to talk about crocs.

And what do crocs mean? What do you think crocs mean? Well, I told Madeline, when we bring up this picture, I want to tell people this. Says, I will forever be single, and I'll never date. I thought he was joking.

I said, if you got a pair of those. And then Madeline said, these are my crocs.

My mom bought those for me. I love my mom, but there's some really. Crocs are comfortable, are they not? There's some awesome people that wear Crocs that are not single forever.

I'm forever gonna be single. I'm never gonna date. Like, who wore crocs today? No, who has crocs? And you design them.

You put little things in the holes. Yeah. See, we got all kinds of folks. She's your friend right there. Do you guys go crocking together?

Married. She's married, too. All right, well, anyways, here's another pair of shoes. There's another pair of shoes, right? These are.

I mean, I went online and I checked out a soldier's shoes and what he would wear, and this is what popped up. So I was thinking, wow, those are pretty neat sandals. You know, but. But they strap these on, and then the bottom has all of these metal studs in them so that they can be stable, they can be established, they can stand firm, and then also they can move forward, and they can have strong traction. So you need to be.

You need to be stable and established, and you need to be able to move forward aggressively. So that's about the shoes of peace. So we're going to talk about these battle boots. Now, the battle boots are a high priority. So much so that they budget the same amount of money for their shoes as they did their sword.

That's what it says. That's what it says. So very, very important. They must be strong and durable. They must give great protection and they must give st and balance.

So the shoes of peace. We're talking about walking in truth, we're talking about being established in righteousness and then we're talking about manifesting and living in have a deep revelation of peace. Say peace. You know that song we just sang was about peace. The peace of God that comes over you.

So Romans 16:20 says, and the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. He's going to crush Satan under your feet. So you got those battle boots up. Peace to. To crush and to put away the works of the devil in Every way.

Ephesians 6:15 it says your feet are shod, your feet are covered. Your feet are equipped with the preparation. Say preparation. Preparation to face the enemy with firm footed stability and promptness and the readiness produced by the good news of the gospel of peace. So the shoes, they are brought into manifestation and they express themselves because of a revelation of the gospel, the good news.

So the good news is what produces the peace of God. And a revelation of the good news produces the peace of God. Again, just. It is the God of peace that crushes Satan under. Under my feet.

Your feet. And it is produced by the good news of the gospel of peace. The firm footedness. Again, it's not us like you know, anxious mind spinning around and around you. I got to settle it.

I got to settle it. No, it's. It's Holy Spirit inside of you that does the calmness that is the spirit of peace. Yes, the God of peace and a deep revelation of of the Gospel. The good news of peace.

The NLT says for the shoes new King James having because it's not something you take off and put on. It's having the peace that comes from good news so that you'll be able to be fully prepared. So the shoes of peace are connected with the revelation of the gospel. Do you understand the gospel? I'm surprised how many people think they understand the gospel.

They don't understand. That's it. The gospel is the beginning and the end of it all. It really is. Paul said, I claim to know nothing else except Christ crucified.

Paul was like the gospel is everything he said, I consider everything else dumb. Meaning what you need to know is you need to be fixed in the gospel. Psalm 85:10 says, Righteousness and peace have kissed together. Isaiah 32:17 says, the effect of righteousness, truth, righteousness. And the effect of righteousness will be peace.

When you get a revelation that he became sin for you so that you might become the Righteousness of God in every aspect of your life that produces peace. You don't have to strive for peace. You have peace. But peace comes from a deep, just, clear revelation that it's all about the gospel. Effective righteousness will peace eternal and external.

It'll be the result of righteousness. It'll be quietness and confident trust forever. So righteousness, peace are connected. If you got no peace, check your righteousness. So check your righteousness.

If you think peace is connected to how well you perform, if you think peace will be manifest in your life because you're living right or doing right or all that, and you think it's about your behavior, then you're not going to have it. You got to check your righteousness. So it's the righteous of God in Christ Jesus. When you got a firm grip on his righteousness, peace is going to overflow every aspect of your life.

Mark 4:39. Then he arose and rebuked the wind, and he said, peace, be still. And the wind ceased. And there was a great calm. Think about that.

There's a great calm. So this is not just, oh, the storm stopped and the boats just now chilling on, like, you know, steady waters. This is something deeper, the great calm. This is like almost like a hush. Yeah, like an inside thing.

Yes, outside. But inside. So it's like there's a massive storm. It's blowing. They're terrified.

But then he says, peace, be still. And it's not just calm. They described it as a great calm. Like there was a supernatural calm that entered the situation where we were as wowed by the calm as we were that the storm stopped. The calm was wow.

It wasn't just a little calm. It was a wow calm. I mean, the calmness that God wants to bring you and the peace he wants to bring you in is supernatural peace. It's not just, I think I can handle it. It's absolute peace and rest.

Go ahead, you're doing good. 24:36. And now as they said these things, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them and said, peace to you. What was going on there?

Do you remember? Is it Luke 24? And I don't remember the context. Jesus had been risen from the dead, and a few ladies came and said, he's gone. And there was rumors out that they'd stolen his body.

And so these guys are huddled in a room with the door locked, and they're like, what are we going to do? What are we going to do? What are we going to do? And then all of a sudden, it's okay. Jesus right through the wall, just doors locked, doors locked.

And Jesus shows up. Is anybody behind a locked door right now? You're hanging on for dear life. Just the door's locked. I hope, I hope, I hope.

And then also Jesus shows up. Isn't that great? Aren't you glad that he'll come through your locked doors? Aren't you glad that where you feel locked down or hindered or. I gotta hang on.

Oh no. Oh no. Life is bad. He walks through that locked situation and he says boo.

I mean I, if I were Jesus, I would have said boo. That would have been the first word. Because I mean, you show up, thin air, you're there. I mean, I would have said boo. How many would have said boo?

Aren't you glad you're not Jesus? Amen. But Jesus shows up pretty crazy right there, right through the wall. I don't know how he came, how he appeared, but boom, he's there out of nowhere. Thank God.

His first word was peace. The first word to the disciples from a risen savior is peace. How many think that God throughout all eternity, this event would have been very careful to select the first word that he's going to speak to his disciples. The first word he's going to speak to you in a locked door, in a broken down situation, in a hopeless place. He's going to walk and he's going to say peace.

And that could. Just say it's good. Just for me. Just say it's good. It's good.

Peace. Peace to you in every situation. So definition of peace. The Hebrew piece is shalom. Say shalom.

That's what Jesus probably said. He probably the door open or door didn't open. He walked in, said shalom. Shalom. What does shalom mean?

What does that mean? Madeleine, what's shalom mean? I love that. It's a lot of things. It is a lot.

I think sometimes in language it's. We tried our best to use small words to describe these very big things, but shalom, peace means completeness, soundness, health, prosperity, security, welfare, Peace. Peace. Shalom. Isn't that great?

Shalom. Peace. So when they're saying like there's a lot of scripture, peace be with you. You know, also it's like we're speaking more than just, you know, be calm. Speaking of wow, we're speaking health, we're speaking prosperity.

We're, we're speaking security, like a groundedness. Peace. Peace. Peace. My shoes.

Peace. The Greek word means harmony, concord, security, safety, prosperity, Felicity. A piece of harmony that brings and Keeps things safe and prosperous. Peace. Come on, say peace to somebody.

Come on, say peace to somebody else. Say, you're my third choice. All right, Good, good. So the results of peace, really fast. We're going to do this really fast now.

How are you excited about this? Going to read how many? Want to know what the results of peace are in your life? All right, thank you. One person.

All right. Usually there's three, but we got one today. All right. Results of standing firm peace. Number one, peace with God.

Number two, peace of God. Number three, peace in God. Number four, peace for God. Really fast. Peace with God.

Romans 5:1 says, Therefore, having being justified by faith, which we have peace, we have peace. How many have been justified by faith? Justified. Some people say you define it like this. Just as if I'd never sinned, I've been justified by faith, by believing.

And because of that, I have peace with God. I have peace with God through the Lord Jesus Christ. So that's a spiritual experience where I'm reconciled with God. God is for you. He is not your enemy.

You're loved and embraced. You've never lived an unloved moment. God says nuts about you. And you got to experience that. You have peace with God.

Does anybody have peace with God? You should never, ever think that God's angry. God never steps away from you, even if you sin. God doesn't pull away. He steps closer.

He says, hey, remember, you're the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Yeah, but I just screwed up. That was rough. You're still. That doesn't go away.

You don't lose it. You can't lose it. It's a gift. I don't take it back. You are.

And right there, by faith, you say, I am the righteous of God in Christ Jesus. So it's always yours. You got peace with God. He came to reconcile all things to himself, whether things on earth, whether things in heaven. He had made.

He's made peace through his blood. So the blood brings peace. You got peace. It's established. It's never taken back.

You have peace with God. Number two. What do we got, madam? The peace of God. John 14:27 says, Peace, I leave with you.

My peace. I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let it be afraid. And I know that.

I do know the context of this one. It was the disciples were getting worried because Jesus was about to leave the earth and he was about to die. And Thomas is like, but what's going to happen? You know, And I think we will have a lot of questions. Sometimes, like, there's this big, deep, dark abyss that we.

It's unknown and we don't know what's happening. And you start to feel fear. But this is Jesus's response. He says, it's okay. Peace, my peace, I give to you.

And this is not like, oh, he gave them the answer. And like, oh, this is exactly how it's going to play out with all the details. All that he. All that he said to them and all that they needed was, it's okay, I'm going to be with you. That.

That's it. And so this great calmness is. It's not determined by the utter circumstances and the answers, but it's inside. No matter what happens, you will not be alone. And then he goes on to say that I'm going to give you a helper.

And that's where the peace comes from. Yeah. Isn't it great, though, that he says, not as the world gives. You know, it's not. It's not like, you know, go get some therapy and take a few pills and blah, blah, blah, but.

And that's okay if that's what's happening, you know. But he says, I'm going to give you my peace. If you got anxiety, if you've got concern, you got worry. He says, I will give you peace, not as the world gives, but I'm going to give you my peace. My peace will not just be with you, but my peace will be in you.

And if you're anxious about anything right now or you got any concern right now, I don't know. But that whole service was designed to bring you freedom. You should be walking out here dancing and rejoicing because I tell you there was a rush of peace on this place today. And you should have all anxiety, all fear, completely delivered from your life because you have the peace of God. Peace in every way, Philippians, it says, and the peace of God which surpasses understanding.

So I don't even understand because this situation would usually cause me to be worried, but I don't care one bit. Things going on in my life. I would have been a wreck if this happened to me like, you know, years ago. But right now I am walking in absolute peace because it's not peace from the world, it's God's peace. And it's a peace that.

That manifests power and strength in every single circumstance. So it's the peace of God. I don't understand it. If you don't understand it, it's the God kind of peace. I don't understand it.

I don't understand it right now, but I lost my job.

But I got peace because I know that my God supplies all my needs according to his riches and glory. So I got peace because I know God's at work. He's moving things on my behalf. First Thessalonians 5, 23 says, now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. May your whole soul, your whole spirit, your whole body be preserved blameless at the coming of Christ Jesus.

Can I get an amen? So every single party who's affected you have peace with God. You got the peace of God and then you got peace. What's that all about? That means with that, we're all tucked into the family, into the body of Christ.

Yes, we are. And so peace in God is because we're in him. Yeah. We're all hanging out in peace together, if possible. Even.

Even when your pastor says, your Crocs say that you ought to be single for the rest of your life, you still. I still love this guy. I got peace. Peace, Pastor. Peace out on you, Pastor.

That was good. It was funny. We were going over with Madeline. I said, then I'm going to pop up the Crocs and Crocs mean you're single forever. And she looks at me, goes, I got Crocs.

I went, what? But you know, you got peace, right? I do have peace. Peace that surpasses all understanding. Understanding, even.

Yes. People can't understand how you can get along with me, you know, but you got peace that passes. Understanding. I don't understand it, but I get along with it. I've learned that you can be you.

You can be a gift, and I can be me, and it's a gift. Oh, wow. I've come to learn that. Was it hard? I've known you for 15 years.

I haven't been counting. Is it. Yeah, 15 years. How long? I think it's.

I think it's been a learning process for sure. I've been on staff full time for about five years. Wow. Is it going okay? Yeah, it's going actually better than okay, I think.

Yeah. Yeah. I appreciate all the dynamics and I actually. We're talking about peace, and I just. I love to observe and watch, and I.

You show up all the time with your shoes of peace. Yeah. In situations where the very first thing that gets slapped into the face or you're in a meeting and boom. Like, really bad news or really news that could swipe you sideways for a very long Time. It's like peace is.

Your first experience is that you meet everything with peace. And you're like, it's going to be okay. I don't know how all the details are going to work out, but it's going to be okay. Yeah. You've noticed that?

Yes. Wow. So I appreciate that. It's possible. Words of affirmation are my number one.

Your love language. I. I know this about you. I'm feeling. I've learned.

I've learned. Feeling appreciated. Wow. So good. All right.

You know the last time we preached together was the New Year's Eve about a year ago. Oh, yeah. And we kicked it off with. It wasn't good. It was like.

Not insults, but it was a little pop pop. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I was like, we're gonna be kind today. I don't even. Not that I have to choose kindness, but do you remember, were you still carrying a wound from that.

Well, I poked at how old you were. Oh, you poked it. Yes, yes, yes. I'm not that old. No, you're not.

You're young anyways. You can. You. You walk around with your shoes on. Peace, peace, peace, peace, peace.

Try to live in peace with everything. Work everyone. Sorry. Work hard at it. Wow.

How many got to work hard? With some people, it's a muscle. Yeah, it's a muscle. Some people need a little extra grace required. We.

We do our cell group training. We say, sometimes you're going to have someone in the group. They're called egr. Extra grace required. And that's okay.

And you're always going to have a group where. A little extra. I'm usually the guy. I am that guy in your group. Extra grace required.

Ephesians 4:3 says, Endeavoring to keep the unity of spirit in the bond of peace. See, you don't create unity. Unity already exists. Unity is in the spirit. It's not something you and I manufacture.

There's unity in the spirit, in the Godhead, and we endeavor to stay there. And we stay there by saying peace is something we're always going to do. It's relational experience. It's maintaining clear relationships. One of my favorite verses.

Romans 12:18. If it's possible. Which means sometimes it isn't. Yeah, if it's possible. As much as it depends on you, if this relationship isn't going to work, it's not on me.

I'm gonna go. I'm gonna serve. I'm gonna come under. I'm gonna do everything I can. I'm gonna do everything I can to live peaceably.

With all men. Amen. So you know what we got to do that we got. When, you know, we got the peace of God. We got peace because you're free and you understand who you are and you got the peace of God.

You can walk openly with any person because you are not going to get hurt or wounded in any situation. I discipline myself to take offense at no man. Right. And because of that, I'm unoffendable. And because of that, you can serve in any situation because you never take things personally.

Amen. Yeah. Amen. One of my. We do strength finders.

A personality test. One of my strengths is harmony, which means that I love when everybody agrees. I love when the room's humming and we're all on the same page. But I've come to learn that we're like in a family, you know, and we're talking about living peaceably with others. And it's not that we all think the same.

No. Or that we're all on the same page with certain stuff. But Jesus is. He's the one that's our common union. And because Jesus is our common union, then I can.

I'm at peace. Yes. It's not. It doesn't have to be an unsettling thing, you know. No.

I don't have to change something about you because you got to agree with me, Madeline. We're at peace. We're at peace. There's a union in the Godhead. So last thing, there's peace for God.

So it's not just standing firm, it's going forward. It's being aggressive. And peace for God. It says how beautiful feet are those who preach good news. They preach the gospel of peace.

They bring glad tidings and good news. So we are literally called through peace to go forward with the gospel of peace, to literally change the whole cosmos. And there's something that peace does as part of that armor. It's part of that responsibility we have, is to walk in this and not just have peace, but because we're firmly established in peace, we can be dispensers of peace everywhere we go. So peace established in the convos most manifesting the king kingdom and The Beatitudes, Matthew 5, 9.

It says, Blessed are the peacekeepers.

You guys left the room already. How many are at super bowl already? How many are chicken wings dancing in your head? It's not peacekeepers. It's peacemakers.

Because we're not here to say, okay, you stay in your corner. You stay in your corner. I'm going to keep you separated. Peace. That's not peace.

That's two angry people divided. But you get out of the way and it's a war. It's just full on. So we need peace. Peace.

And how many remember Air Force One? I remember the movie Air Force One with Harrison Ford. No, really, if you remember it, put up your hand. How many do not remember it? How many never saw it at all?

I just noticed I'm getting a little older in some of the things that are in my random access memory. But Madeline didn't see Air Force One. But anyway, it's Harrison Ford. He's the president, and they try to hijack Air Force One. And at the end, it's him and he's got this big knife and there's a terrorist hanging by the back of the plane, ready to fly out of the plane.

The guy says, you can't cut that cord. You're a man of peace. You can't cut the cord. He's about to chop the cord. The guy's gonna whoa out the back of it.

So he said, do you feel it? Do you see it? You know, there he is. But Harrison Ford says, here's what he said. And I, I.

This really. I remembered this. It stuck with me because he said, peace is not the absence of conflict. It's the presence of justice. And the guy went flying out the back of the bus.

But what's beautiful about God is that God came with justice. God came with justice and, and fairness. And he came to bring equity. He came to. To really settle some things and manifest some things.

And it's not the absence. Okay, everybody, stop fighting. Stop fighting. No, he came. He came to bring a resolution, and he came to bring peace.

He came to bring the peace. God. And we're here to bring peace to our culture. We're here to bring peace to a broken world. We're here to manifest peace.

So we must bring peace to the deceived, the sick, the poor, the broken, and the lost. In Corinthians, it says, we are ambassadors for Christ. God is pleading through us. We implore you be reconciled to God. Amen.

There you go. So you got to do that. Are you ready? I want to pray for three people today. Three groups of people.

That three. It's almost three people. Three groups of people. I want you to listen. Why?

You listen. All right? Want your spirit to pay attention. Maybe you're here today and you walked in and you were anxious, and right now you feel there's some things coming up in the next few weeks. There's stuff.

There's Pending things. There's things, there's stuff that's out of your control and it's affecting your peace. I want to pray for you. Now listen, if that's you, I want to pray for you and just where you are. Just say, you know, I want that to be manifest in my life today.

Put your hand up, just say, I got some things I could use peace for because there's real peace. This is not a talk. This is. This is real dynamic peace that'll change your life. And it's going to go.

You're going to be healed today. So anxiety is going to go. Fear's going to go. We're going to release right now. You could be fearful of finances, you could be fearful about a situation at work.

You'd be fearful about a relationship, a family thing. I tell you, I want God to just speak to that anxiety. Go in the name of Jesus. All right, so I'm going to pray for you folks. You ready?

In the name of Jesus right now, I command the peace of God to come. It's peace that passes understanding. This situation looks like it's irresolvable. But as, as we're singing today, and we were singing, you know, nothing is impossible with you. Nothing is impossible with you.

Nothing is impossible with you. There's nothing too hard for you. And right now we speak to those circumstances. We speak to those situations. And God, you're my source, you are my peace.

I have peace with you. And I command right now the peace of God to come into full expression in that situation. Lord, let your rest, let it come. Let it be manifest in that situation. Lord, even if the circumstance don't change, don't matter.

I got peace and I got peace that passes understanding. And I, I receive peace right now, that I'm not going to let it bother me. I'm not let it affect me. It's not going to affect my body, cause any grief, sleeplessness is gone. I'm going to rest in the fact that God, you have it, you love me.

I cast every care on you right now in Jesus name. Amen. Another group of people, listen, you got to bring peace. You know, there's people around you, there's people you work with, there's people on your street. There's people in this city who need peace.

And it says, when you get a revelation of the gospel of peace, it causes you to go, how wonderful, how precious, how beautiful it is the feet of those who bring good news. How many know that you know what? I want to be someone. My eyes are Opened to the people around me. I don't want to be selfish with my faith, but I want to be a dispenser of rest and peace everywhere I go.

Who's that? Who is that? Who is that? Put your hand up, say that's me. That's me.

I want to be pastor. I want to be a dispenser. I want divine opportunities. I want divine appointments to, to just cause depression, addiction, brokenness. I want it to go.

I want to heal the sick. I want to bring freedom. I want to bring deliverance everywhere I go. Who is that? Who is that?

Come on, let's pray right now. Let's, let's believe right now. This isn't just a little talk to get you out the door, but I expect right now something to shift in your eyes, in your heart, in your world, that that dimension of being a carrier of peace, a dispenser of peace, a demand is going to be placed on that in your life this week situations. You're going to be brought in. You're going to.

Oh, this is a divine assignment in Jesus name, Father, I pray right now. Lord, we are here. This city is going to experience the love of God. And if it's going to happen, it's going to happen through us. There's no other way.

There's no other vehicle. The church is the eternal purpose of God to manifest all of your wisdom to the world. It's us and Lord, it us, us. It behoves us, Father, to become very clearly acquainted with peace. And that peace is my commission.

Peace is what you've caused me to bring in every circumstance. So Father, let us bring justice. Let us bring freedom. Let us, let us rebuke sickness and fear and anxiety and brokenness. Let us be a vehicle where we dispense the favor of God everywhere we go.

So we announce bring on divine appointments. Bring it on. Because today I am baptized and I am equipped to be someone who dispenses peace in Jesus name, Amen.
