Day 6 of 10 Days of Prayer

Day 6 of 10 Days of Prayer
By: Pastor D. Karl Thomas

Prayer is building a connection between the seen and the unseen. Building a super highway that God can push heavy Kingdom cargo to earth. As it is in Heaven!!!

Mark 11:24
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Teaching them in the upper room hours before His arrest … things have shifted.
I’m going to give some new instruction on prayer … asking for my intervention.

John 14:13-14
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

John 15:16
…that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

John 16:23-24
And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

Something is about to shift in the cosmos and it will affect you in a big way.
For the first time ever … you will have dominion that can never be taken from you.
Your right to rule … your right to determine what concerns you … your right to call heaven to earth has been established in me … it will not be taken from you again!!!

3 Reasons People Don’t Pray
1. Complacency
2. Unbelief
3. Discouragement

2 misunderstanding about God that hinder peoples prayers:
1. His Sovereignty — God controls everything.
2. His Immutability  —  God never changes.

God’s going to to do what he wants to do anyway. Why pray?  BIG MISTAKE
Matthew 6:8For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.”

2 aspects of His nature that cause us to pray:
1. His Sovereignty —  God is supreme
2. His Immutability —  He will always be GOOD

Prayer Directives:

1. Snow stop and January thaw come fast!!!
2. Soak your people with a revelation of the power of prayer.
3. Strength for everyone in the body of Christ … bug, viruses, flu must bow to Jesus.
4. Hey how about prayer for prosperity … The blessing of the Lord makes truly rich.
5. Our growth as a fellowship … properties and lands come into our hands.
6. Pray for every ministry that is serving God’s purpose in our communities.
7. Bless the life giving churches in our community … bless the Pastor’s in London … protect and bless their families.

Heavenly Father I ASK today that You would do a Holy Spirit renovation on all of our hearts today at Impact Church. According to You word in James 5:16a I ASK Father that you would fill us and ANOINT us at Impact Church with Your Spiritual Temperature of effective fervent prayer Inflamed by Your Holy Spirit, so that our prayers come to you with Burning Zeal and earnestness. In Jesus name Amen.
Like Elijah prayed in 1 Kings 18:41-45 He did not stop praying until he saw God’s promise fulfilled. He bowed down and prayed on his knees,
He was persistant in prayer, and Elijah believed even before the answer actually came. WOW!
7 times. I am so greatful for Pastor Karl’s and Impact Churches persistant prayer for the body of Christ. It’s like a warm sunny day and a soft breeze in my heart and I know I’m not alone but have one of the greatest frienships of all, Jesus, Holy Spirit and Impact Church . Thank You so much.

Praying to be used by God in a big way in helping to usher His goodness into the world, into the lives of the people I know, as well as the ones I have yet to meet.

Believing for big things for Impact in 2018 – both for the Church, and for those who attend. Am praying for both individual and corporate breakthroughs, things so big others within London (Christian and non-Christian) have to take notice and acknowledge what God is doing in His people in this city.

Thanking the God who can do abundantly and infinitely more than all I can ask for His ability to take my thoughts, my dreams, my vision, and turn them into something greater than I could have planned, hoped for, or imagined.

Encoraging others to write a comment. Let everyone know you’re praying with us?

We do pray for the first service of the new year 2018…this Sunday….we declare that the snow will not keep people away….clear the tracks snow plows. We are excited to enjoy the awesome presence of the Lord which will be so real to all who enter to worship. Bless those volunteers who helped to make the nursery ready for the influx of new families, with little ones…Reviewing the prayer directives once again, we were prompted to pray for specific people and specific ministries as the Lord brought them to mind. What a joy, and an honour to take part in the Ten Days of Prayer. Thanks to Pastor Karl, Pastor Cheryl and the leadership of the church for all they do. We cherish you all!

We declare significant growth in Impact Church and all the churches in London this year! We are also believing for prosperity and for financial needs to be met; you are the God that provides! Pour out your Spirit this Sunday and bring in some new people for us to bless. Thank you Lord that you are good and you never change!
