Day 5 of 10 Days of Prayer

Ephesians 3:14-21 (NIV) “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,…”

(NKJ) “…exceedingly abundantly above all…”

Ephesians 3:20 {AMP} “Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]–”

Paul doesn’t manage our expectation for more. He doesn’t dumb them down.   He says,…Now, with all that in mind get wild about your expectations. Push beyond your wildest imaginations! Get out into the realm of immeasurably MORE!!!

Your capacity to walk in immeasurably more is determined by your ability to imagine.

If you can’t see it with a sanctified wild imagination then you will never pursue it.

Mark 11:24 “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye  receive them, and ye shall have them.”

The gap is not big positionally. —– The gap is be practically.

Author Bob George has observed that it’s possible for a Christian to live as a “practical atheist.” That’s a person who, despite right doctrine, “approaches life as if he {himself} were the only resource available.”

I refuse mediocrity … I want to be agitated by the challenge of MORE. Mediocrity is a form of lying.

You tell yourself a lie that you can’t do any better in the (name of some sort of weakness).

JESUS

“Jesus Christ is perfect theology.” Bill Johnson

He is the pattern of how we should live. If there is a gap between the way He lived and my life I must  close the gap. I must increase! Everyone who came to Jesus experienced the Kingdom and left with more than they expected.

Luke 5:1-11 Jesus was looking for people who He could share His purpose with.   He was developing and invasion force.  Jesus taught and transformed their mindsets through teaching and through miracles.

“1 So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God, that He stood by the Lake  of Gennesaret, 2 and saw two boats standing by the lake; but the fishermen had gone from them and were washing their nets. 3 Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat. 4 When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” 5 But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” 6 And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. 7 So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. 8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!” 9 For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish which they had taken; 10 and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men.” 11 So when they had brought their boats to land, they forsook all and followed Him.”

8 Imperatives For Releasing More

1. Expectation

vs. 2 “…washing their nets…” soak in clean water rub with oil

3 Fold Prep: Wash (Word) – Mend (Repent) – Stretch (Fresh fillingSPIRIT)

2. Participation

vs. 3 “…push away a little…”

First let me be captain of a little.

“God never works anything independently of you that concerns your life” David Yonggi Cho

3. Impartation

Mark 4:1-3 “…so that He got into a boat and sat in it on the sea; and the whole multitude was on the land facing the sea. Then He taught them many things by … “Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow.”

Parable of seed and sower and soil … get the word in a good heart — RESULTS!

4. Forget The Past

vs. 5 “…caught nothing…”

Don’t project your past. Forget it.

I will not create a theology that makes my lack of manifestation okay.

I will use any sense of loss to propel me into future gain.

5. Spirit Of Faith

vs. 5 “…toiled exhaustingly…”

Faith begins where ability ends.

Colossians 1:29 “For this I labor [unto weariness], striving with all the [superhuman energy which He so mightily enkindles and works within me.”

6. Obedience

7. vs. 4-5 “…on the ground of your word…” (Rhema) Spirit quickened spoken word.

Even if unconventional.

Living in the supernatural means that you are often operating in a way that violates natural laws.

7. Experience

vs. 6-7 “net was breaking … filled both the boats … they began to sink…”

Daily unexplainable living. God is always more than enough!

8. Dependance

vs. 11“…forsook all, followed Him.”

He is the source of my life.

Matthew 13:46 “…who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.”

Maturity is dependance.

I would like MORE!!!

PRAYER DIRECTIVES:

1. Pray for a wonderful time of fellowship at the picnic

2. Ask God to raise up a company of 2 milers

3. Pray for God’s peace to fill the Middle East

4. Always remember to pray for those in authority

5. Pray for families and children in transition … School and such

6. Thank God for the great revival we are engaged in right now!!!

    It is amazing the transformation which can take place in one’s life when we allow God to make manifest the power He has placed within us. It was a leap of faith to start my glassblowing business. A bigger one to book myself in as a vendor at festivals. I had to get over the fact that two previous attempts(2007, 2009) had both failed, my skill was lacking and I had no teacher, and, I live hand-to-mouth so it is not like I had money saved to start this venture. But, despite all this, I was obedient to the answer I received through prayer. After booking those festivals I found a teacher, my skills have improved, I make sales. Opportunities continue to open up for me. My next event is the Western Fair. I was accepted even though I applied way after the deadline. The money came(not like I had it when I was granted a booth) for the fees, the insurance, business cards, and, a banner. God has provided in ways besides money too. My hair guy Emmanuel cut my hair for free and dropped me off salon grade shampoo and conditioner. My friend Prentice dropped off a pair of shoes. Josh, from Impact, is helping me with clothing. My thanks goes out to these men for helping look professional during this event. My eternal gratitude goes out to God for taking the time to reach out for me. See you at the picnic.

    This is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice in it! As Pastor Karl said there in his” imperatives for releasing more”, forget what was yesterday, and SAY this is a new day and I will rejoice in it! We can’t see God as a historical God, what he has done, or a futuristic God, what he going to Do! We must see him with eyes of our spirit, revelation, to a God who is working right NOW, TODAY, EVER PRESENT TENSE GOD! When we see this for us personally this will change how you pray. Our mouths have heavens seeds to be planted on earth to cause heaven to grow down here! Father we thank you for even the little things in our life that you are so interested in, we thank you for a great day at the picnic with the church family. We are going to pattern our lives after you, you always went the extra mile for us. We speak peace into the middle east. you gave us authority to declare your word, for the kingdom of God is not in word only but in power! We declare all those in authority are walking in the wisdom of God to make decisions, and to having hearing ears to listen for direction. Bless all the children and family’s that are going through change, favor and more favor be manifested in there lives. We thank you Father that we go from glory to glory, faith to faith, moving here at Impact Church with the Holy Spirit. That we will not be stagnant, but will continue to hunger and thirst after you and we will be filled, for your word declares that. We are a church with power, we are a church that believes, and we are a church that pray’s, and are carries of your GLORY! In the precious name of Jesus!
