#156 Doors #2: Better Together

John 10:1-10, 24-25, 30 “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly … I and my Father are one.”

I AM the Door … Picture Sheepfold

1John 4:17-19 (Message) “God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home and mature in us, so that we’re free of worry on Judgment Day— our standing in the world is identical with Christ’s …  There is no room in love for fear. Well-formed love banishes fear. Since fear is crippling, a fearful life—fear of death, fear of judgment—is one not yet fully formed in love. We, though, are going to love—love and be loved. First we were loved, now we love. He loved us first.”

Colossians 2:9-10 “For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.”
Complete (Pleroo):– to make complete in every particular, to render perfect to carry through to the end, to accomplish, carry out fully.

You have been re-fathered, reoriented and reacclimatized.
You are a child of God genetically, psychologically and environmentally!
2 Corinthians 5:17 “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”

You are free to be yourself … you are self aware … confident … free to engage others … connect on all levels without fear or expectation.
You will approach every situation prepared and expecting God’s best!!!

“Our works don’t come from pressure to please God, but from the peace of the promise that He is already pleased.”   D. R. Silva

Acts 2:47 “And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.”

Without partnerships, strategic relationships, you can not realize your full potential.
Genesis 2:18 “And the LORD God said, “It is not good that man should be alone;…”

Jesus in His final hours with His disciples before His crucifixion laid out a strategic plan. Community!
John 13:8 “Peter said to Him, “You shall never wash my feet!” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.”
Part (meros) :— Destiny

John 13:12-14 “So when He had washed their feet, taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you? You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.”

Being active in the body of Christ (CHURCH) allows you to experience:
1. Fellowship   2. Function   3. Formation — You can’t manifest who you are outside of community.
The strategic system Jesus laid out works!!!
