I really enjoyed the sermon on Sunday, for several reasons. Every single time, even if it is parts of the Bible I am familiar with, you “guys” bring out a different and new pearl of truth. It resonated with me because it covered “stuff” that we took during our mentoring classes with Pastor Cheryl. I am currently mentoring a co-worker and I will be giving these notes to her. I loved how the praise and worship ignited all of us and we were primed and ready to hear Pastor Karl speak. The part that spoke to me personally is .the section on: My Passion
Psalm 37:4 “Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.”

I am reminded that I love singing with a passion, especially praises to the Lord, so I am looking forward to going out to the Retirement Home once a month to sing together with those folks. Something beautiful happens when you connect with
people through song. I know that we will be singing older songs as that is what the older crowd relates to.and it excites me to think that someone can reach out to the Lord and feel His loving care because of it. Anticipation is brewing inside of me.
